Dr. Guest has been my internist for 20 years. He is knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate, and kind. He listens to my opinions, concerns, and questions - really listens, and respects my choices when there are choices to be made. Wait time in his office can run long because if you phone with a pressing problem he will move heaven and earth to squeeze you in that day - which I find to be a more-than-excellent trade-off. I was also a patient of his wife Elizabeth for about a year - she is a psychotherapist and a very good one. As far as I can tell, she oversees billing and general office management while maintaining her own practice, which makes her a busy woman indeed. I find her to be a compassionate and good practitioner, and to be businesslike and very busy in her office duties - I have never, in my 20+ years at this practice, seen anything in her manner that I would call negative. Both Dr. Guest and Mrs. Guest have gone the "extra mile" for me many times.

Dr. Guest himself is a good doctor. However he did become confused about my case and insisted I was lying about needing lifting restrictions and said I'd never complained about my back, even though I had two back surgeries in the previous five years while under his care. I don't know why, but his wife Elizabeth was the one who tried to convince him I was lying. She is a detriment to his practice, and has been overbearing and insensitive with my wife and I. I've seen her be condescending toward the staff, and even told one of the nurses that she was too fat, right in front of me. God bless Dr. Guest. There must be a special place in heaven for him to have lived with that woman all these years.

I absolutely love Dr. Guest, he has been nothing but caring and helpful over the years. Although as much I hate to switch doctors, I may have to. The time I spend waiting in his office is unacceptable. Every doctors trip takes a minimum of 3 hours out of my day and I just don't have that time to wait around.

I have been a patient for over 15 years. I have received the highest quality of care for both routine physicals and a variety of medical conditions including a prompt diagnosis of M S in 2001. Regarding Mrs.Guest, I've had pleasant conversations with her on several occasions and no issues when there was a billing error several years ago. There is one nurse that is especially nice unfortunately I don't know her name. As a health care consumer I try to work closely with the Dr & his staff to minimize "issues" and focus on being an active participant in the Dr - Patient relationship.

totally agree wife Elizabeth is not a very nice person & his office would run much smoother if she was not there. She never has anything nice to say & is constantly interfering w/ his patients

The doctor himself isn't to bad. If you want to keep getting pain meds this is the place to go. His wife, Elizabeth Guest, is unbearable. She is rude (everytime to everyone) uncooperative, unwilling to help, obnoxious. The office would be nice with HER gone. A lot of patients are lost because of her.

I and my family have been seeing Dr. Guest for a little over 2 years now. And he has made such a difference in all of our lives. Anyone who has Dr. Guest would be the luckiest person around. My mother went for many years not know she had kidney cancer and with in the first visit with Dr. Guest he had found it and refered her to one of the top specialists in the state and she is now cancer free. My husband had been ill for a number of years with high BP, and other problems and with in several visits Dr. Guest has it all under controll and has made my husband a different person. And for myself, I was have some medical issues with my blood levels and what not and with in only a couple of visits Dr. Guest had refered me to the best Endocrinologist that I have ever met and I am finally getting everything back to the way it should be!!! Dr.Guest is deff #1 in my book and would recommend him to anyone. He is actually a doctor that when you make an appointment you see him not a PA, or s
