This doctor left me to suffer in ongoing and unnecessary pain. I was with her for only six short months but it seemed to be an eternity. Every visit I had with her I left feeling hopeless and in agony. After being in a head on collision and preparing for brain surgery for a severe neurological condition I was profiled by this doctor. My condition which includes chronic migraines, fatigue, vertigo, numbness and tingling, intractible back pain, nerve pain, neck pain and double vision was minimized and I felt 100% judged by her. On more than one occasion I ended up in the emergency room less than 24 hours after office visits with this doctor. I believe whole heartedly she was afraid to treat me and did not have any idea how to distribute or monitor pain medication. My pain does not even fit on a 0-10 pain scale. But she labeled me and made an absolute disaster of my medical file. Every appointment I had with her she said " I don't know what you want me to do". My final visit with her was spent barely being able to hold my head up while she called doctors in another hospital to find out what they thought she should do. I am a brain and spinal cors injury survivor. I am thankful I left Dr. Grant when I did. Although I did not have the energy to get lost in a doctor shuffle, my quality of life was diminished and I did find a doctor who doesn't need the opinions of other doctors to help make my daily life bearable. Luckily for me i was not in need of psychiatric care like she claimed i was, for i fear i wpuld not be here today. I worry for those who may not be able to adcocate for themselves and rise above a situation like mine. I would not recommend Dr. Meghan Grant to anyone unless it is something that can be treated with a bandaid. The stress and time I had to put out on having my medical file altered and partially sealed was well worth it. Pain does not discriminate. You are never too young to have an invisible illness and depression does NOT cause pain. Pain causes depression. I hope whoever reads this will refrain from putting themselves through the mistreatment.
