With my epilepsy I have seen a lot of neurologists in my life, but Dr. Kunecka is by far the best. She takes time to listen to my problems, explain the decisions that she thinks are best, and never talks down to me. She also makes it very clear that she is available for questions or concerns via phone or email anytime. She makes it easier to go through my epilepsy knowing that I have such a caring and knowledgeable doctor. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Had a very pleasant experience with Dr Kunecka. Her examination seemed thorough and she was willing and able to address my concerns and answer my questions.

Dr. Kunecka apparently did not listen to a word I said when describing my symptoms to her. I read her notes on my visits and counted 8 mistakes. Some of the mistakes involved misstating dates when symptoms began and/or ended, some were complete misrepresentations of what I had said, etc. She also stated that my symptom pattern followed no known disease pattern, which is not true. She saw that I was recently diagnosed with diabetes (after having multiple negative tests for it over the duration of my illness, so I haven't had it for long) and, because I am overweight, she told me to my face that the diabetes is the cause of my problems. In her notes, however, she said that my problem is probably psychological, though several of my relatives share my symptoms, some of which are unusual enough that there aren't many illnesses that include them, but she would not test for anything. What it boils down to is that she could not figure out the diagnosis, so she shuffled me off to other doctors and stated in my record that I'm not really ill. Steer clear of this one unless you enjoy condescension.
