I would not recommend Dr Battle at Raincross Medical at all. He doesn't fill refills unless you come in every couple of weeks, He never lets you know what's going on . He's very Rude and thinks he is better than you . He doesn't listen to you or try to be understanding. What he says goes and if you don't like it find another Doctor! Which we are doing ..... 😠

I would not recommend Dr. Battle, no compassion. I was dismissed from his office with a blood pressure over 200. He would not refill prescription, because he said I did not do what I was suppose to do. We'll, Dr. Battle, you did not do what a professional Dr. would do, show compassion.

Dr. Battle has been my family doctor for over 7 years now. I love him and my children love him. He definitely takes time to educate his patients, he will talk through and give you all the alternatives possible. He's not a medicine only guy, he promotes healthy living, proper diet. He is extremely attentive, I love his nurse Christy she too is the absolute best. I hope that I leave this earth before he does because I don't know what I will do if I have to find another doctor. He knows his patients and he remembers things that happen. I can't say enough about him. I'm sorry for those who have maybe caught him on an off day..and the deal with not being able to get in with him lately is because his wife was in a car accident and he too has a family that he has to care for...so we all wear shoes just different sizes, give him a break, don't be so quick to judge. I love Dr. Battle and anybody needing a good doctor should look him up!

I have been seeing Dr Battle since I moved from IL. Initially his staff was very pleasent and helpful. In the past year his office and staff has become more like an assembly line. He has now changed his hours to only be mornings and getting in to see him is impossible. Getting a return call is also not going to happen if you want to talk with him. You will get his staff. He has also become unwilling to work with my busy schedule and routinely changes appointments to fit his schedule. Looking for new Doc.

Dr. Battle was a wonderful Doctor. I tend to be a very shy person, and it is difficult for me to find a doctor that I am comfortable with. Dr. Battle is that Doctor. Like another rater said, he is not looking for a quick fix, and seems much more concerned with my overall health and wellness than just meds to put me on. He explained everything he wanted to do very thoroughly, and was extremely personable.

Dr Battle is the best doctor our family has ever had! He is personable, caring, and very knowledgeable. Both my children see him and he always remembers what we talked about during the last visit. I highly recommend him.

It had been about 6 months since I had seen him and during that time I had a lap band procedure and had lost about 45 pounds. My blood sugar is doing great around a 98 daily average. My BP is stable. This was a follow up for med refills. He came in the room said get up on the table please, no hello or anything. Asked if I was taking my meds, asked if I had eaten this morning. Said okay we will get your labs and compare the numbers. Sent me on my way. No Hi, how have you been or any cordial responses. This guy it totally hit or miss. I am looking within my network for my next doctor. I am sure he won't care.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Battle. I have seen the same doctor for 26 years. Due to the long drive a friend suggested trying Dr. Battle. I did and will continue to see him. I love the time he gives to his patients. I don't feel like I'm a number when I go to this Wellstar facility.

Dr Battle is wonderful! He really listens and responds to all of my questions with easy to understand responses. I appreciate that Dr Battle is not too quick to prescribe medication and is willing to discuss alternative treatments and lifestyle changes. Dr. Battle works with me instead of issuing orders. This is refreshing.

I saw him a while back and was not impressed. He did not want to refer me to a specialist and was not "alarmed by the numbers" from my labwork. Because I did not need a referral, I went to the specialist, who informed me that I needed to come in immediately. Being given 1-5 years to live by the specialist, I am glad I went against his nonchalant approach to my issue and took my care into my own hands. It has been 5 years now and I am doing well. I encourage everyone to be a good steward over their own health and don't just let his "medical opinion" be the deciding factor. He was nice, but I didn't find him knowledgeable in my instance.
