Dr. Ratering is very skillful and enjoys conversing while doing dental work (this helps reduce anxiety). He once asked if I wanted to get a filling done without anesthetic. (He told me to let him know the moment I felt any pain, and he would give me some). Well, I never had to let him know. He was so careful, and used a state-of-the-art water pressure drill, that I all I felt was a squirting sensation on my tooth. My tooth was filled and I left the office without any numbness in no time. I was impressed!
