My appointment was yesterday and cant speak highly enough about Dr Barber. He was kind, very informative and extremely helpful in charting a way forward for me. I left the appointment feeling listened to and reassured and much more positive about the future.

Whilst Dr Barber seems to have an incredible wealth of knowledge, I would have loved to be taken through my condition in a little bit more details so I can go home with a proper action plan and understanding the impact on my life. It felt like my case was not interesting enough for someone like him and I felt a little bit of arrogance (with all my respect).

Dr Alan Barber was absolutely fantastic during covid lockdown my zoom call with him was very thorough and also very reassuring.
A MRI was arranged immediately, and I received a reassuring phone call the day after my MRI.
So lucky to have him as my neurologist.

Refused to see me in the public system and referred to his private clinic where tests were recommended if me or insurance paid for it. Went on waiting list for public system, seen again by him but said I didn't need any tests. Will not recommend, unhelpful and not able to diagnose/isolate problem.
