I only gave it one star because i had to. The staff was great but it was the actual physician who was my problem. Clearly this physician has an issue with patients of color. Elizabeth Clark walks into the room hold my chart laughing she proceeds to ask me how you pronounce my name ( she never shook my hand as physicians seeing a new patient typically do) I happily told her how to say my name to which she replied "did your parents hate you" I was pissed and firmly stated no. She then continued by asking "were your parents on drugs", now I am really mad and want to put my hands on her but because I need to maintain a clear criminal record I didn't. I just replied no with an attitude. She finally comes closer to me ad ask " was your mother on crack?" by this point I am boiling... i am thinking that i need my blood pressure medication and staying is the only way to get it , so in my head i am coaching myself to stay cool. this "physician" never once felt on my legs to see if they were swollen ( which they were) she was the worst. I have filed a formal complaint with the Texas state medical board. I have also contacted the better business and anyone else that i feel needs to do something about this
