Wendy at reception is lovely as for the others , after reading the lady below comment it was so refreshing to realise I am not the only one dismissed by this so called doctor. I had X-rays done and a report of damage to my spine , I received a text to please make a appointment, then had a phone call on the same day to come in , after seeing the results Dominique said this is painful. She then tried to prescribe me anti depressants for spinal damage, I asked why and how this would help. She became aggressive and ordered me out of the surgery saying exactly “you are not going to guilt trip me” when I asked for help for this non repair injury. I left in tears not understanding why after I asked how does anti depressants help with nerve damage. I also received a phone call from the staff member Pat ordering me never to return . This woman should be taken to court for prescribing medication that has no benifit to help in spinal damage. It was the worst ever experience from someone who claims to be a doctor. Anti depressants for spinal damage ? Fair go... she also ordered no health record to be recorded, though Queensland X-ray have given me access to these files, I am sure the Health Ombusdaman would like to hear more of this so called dr she has no right to practice medicine , it’s disturbing she is even allowed to see patients it’s a malpractice waiting to happen. Anti depressants for spinal damage , really ? Wow how out of touch is she. Yes complaints are being made through the proof from Queens land X-ray. I am relieved to see I am not the only one she likes to belittle when she is asked how does this help. And how can I get help.

Unless you believe in healing hands this woman is all about holistic care and has no real idea on how to help sick and injured people. She is a complete flake.

Very careing and thorough with her patients and worth the wait if she is running late

Absolutely appalling. I am flummoxed by the inhuman actions of Dr Dominique Novic, who recently left Mediwell Medical Centre, which closed recently. She was my back-up physician because my primary physician only works two days per week. Dr Novic now works at Redlands Medical Centre and refuses to continue to treat me, even though I was under her back-up care at Mediwell for approximately 12 months. My primary physician still only works two days per week at a new medical centre in Carindale, so I urgently need a backup doctor who is very familiar with my history. Not only did Dominique Novic refuse to treat me, she chose to relay the message through the practice manager and reception. So, despite having severe, chronic illness, I am now left with no back-up care through a doctor who is familiar with my medical history, with no suggestions from her in regards to continuity of my medical care. This constitutes a gross violation of duty of care and her Hippocratic Oath to do no harm. I have filed a complaint through the relevant regulatory bodies, and I will be posting this review far and wide.

P.S: It appears that negative reviews get hidden or deleted on this page, so you have to wonder how many negative reviews are being hidden or deleted. Hence, I was forced to rewrite this review on someone else's comment. It's nice to know that this practice values their patients enough to be interested in patient feedback. What a disgusting way to treat sick, vulnerable people. I will be leaving this review everywhere I can find since it's my legal right to express my opinion about the medical treatment I was refused by a doctor who previously treated me at Mediwell and now works at this medical practice. Shut me down, and I will only get louder and more determined!
