Has been my GP for more than 20 years. Is extremely knowledgeable, very thorough and leaves no stone unturned in finding the cause of a problem. I owe my life to his diagnostic skills - he detected an extremely aggressive and unusual cancer and arranged immediate access to appropriate specialist care. Both he and all the staff at the Clinic have always been very helpful and polite to me and my family. Probably the best GP I have ever dealt with.

Always has the correct diagnosis and knows what to do for the problem. Have been to specialists who said they wished there were more GPs like him around.

Interesting...I read these reviews and I know Dr Stelmach is somewhat "different" but he is one of the best doctors I have been to. I give him back what he gives me and then he laughs....

Dr Jon Stellmach has got to be the biggest condescending prick I have come across in my entire life. The man ought to retire. I have never written a review in my life but feel utterly compelled after a visit to your practice.
I took a young child in there with an illness (temp and spots) and when I asked a question it was like it was an invite for him to start an argument with us. His replies are smart arsed and he holds back knowledge hoping you will ask him a question then he will try and make you feel inferior for asking. He is very unhelpful and every time we have gone to visit him it is like we have majorly inconvenienced him. He talks over you if you have a question and is about as helpful as an echidna on a jumping castle.
I would not recommend Dr Jon Stellmach to anybody. The man is a dead-set rude arsehole.
Dr Jon Stellmach I hope you read this. Lighten up old man, you probably have alot of knowledge to offer, but your people skills are fooking horrendous.

Dr Stellmach is a very strange person. One day he will be extremely rude and the next just normal (but by normal I mean not having a go at you). He is not very approachable and makes you feel uncomfortable for asking questions. His staff, or at least one of them is extraordinarily rude and acts as if (AND verbalises) she doesn't have time for you. I asked her to fax my referral to a specialist and her response was "OH MY GOD" followed by a huge sigh. I am sorry but I have been a medical secretary and faxing referrals is usually (99.9% of the time) a requirement of the job. While he CAN be a good diagnostic doctor he is also not very thorough and doesn't explore all possibilities and more so treats the symptom rather than finding the cause. I find that irresponsible.
