Dr. Farey is the most humble and skilled spine surgeon! After 6 month of chronic back pain and misdiagnose by three top neurosurgeon in sydney, l was hopeless and running out of time. Nobody could spot my problem until a top sports doctor referred me to see Dr. Farey. His secretary Julie is amazing, she fitted me right in to his busy schedule. After consulting with Dr. Farey I was correctly diagnosed and send for surgery the following week to remove a lesion that was impinging on my L5 nerve root. Everyday after the operation, Dr. Farey came to my ward and checked on how l was. Now I’m in my second week after surgery, I’m improving day by day because of this wonderful surgeon and human being! I had a Laminectomy performed by Dr Farey 6 years ago. The operation successful and agonising pain relieved. Im eternally grateful to this wonderful surgeon . Very kind and supportive.. Bless him !!

Whats to be said about an egomaniac that largely ignores scientific evidence and goes with his own beliefs at the expense of health care. A surgeon who solely operates in the private, giving nothing back to the field, and charges exceptionally high prices for surgeries with very poor clinical outcomes. Yet he'll claim to know all there is off a simple whiff of your scans; regardless of the very low validity of interpreting spinal scans lol. In it for the money. In it for the money.

I was operated on by Dr Farey in 2014. I have had very poor results. I strongly advise consultation with another surgeon at another hospital before agreeing to any spinal procedure with Dr Farey.
