I saw Chris Harrington about 15 years ago at JHH as a public patient. He was arrogant, rude, and unhelpful. I was having knee problems as someone with a spinal cord condition. I told him all the things I couldn't do and all he said was 'oh well, stop doing those things', as he plumply sat on a swivel chair huffing and puffing and finding it hard to get out of the chair. An absolute disgrace to the medical profession. I think he is now retired, thank god. I want to leave this review as a legacy to a horrific doctor.

An absolute joke of a doctor and a man with little to no integrity, straight up lied in his report. Will say one thing to your face and the exact opposite in his report, if you are sent to him for an I.M.E. book in to see your solicitor first chance you get.

I had to see this doctor as a part of a workers comp referral as a second opinion….. I wish I had saved myself the physical pain that I endured to meet this dr (if that is what he could be referred to as…. Definitely not a professional) I drove 2.5 hours to see him to be treated with the utmost disrespect and disregard to my injury. Limping down the hall way he told me to hurry up that I wouldn’t lead a conga line like that…. Once in the room I tried to explain what I had done, what happened with the injury, what medical care I had seeked and been provided with only to be disregarded and shut down mid sentence multiple times - with comments like “I don’t know what you did that, that was a waste of time, you didn’t need to have that scan, that medication is a waste of time”. I continued to try and explain my symptoms of coldness in my foot, the pain that I am still experiencing 20 weeks post accident, my symptoms etc only to be told “you have lost all movement in your ankle, you’ll never regain that back”, “your foot is not a part of your body”. This was after he grabbed hold of my injured foot and twisted it causing added pain, even after I had said “that hurts”!! In regards to my walking he told me that I would need to get a stick and start walking normally (demonstrating a heel to toe walk) as it looked like I had a brick attached at the end of my leg, I tried to explain the pain to him, but agin was cut off….I asked him where to get a stick from and said “just get one out of the bush”!!
By this stage I am feeling pretty deflated that I had wasted my time, endured so much pain to make this appointment and now the stress of what he is going to write in the workers compensation review…… he finished with “I am not your treating doctor and I haven’t told you anything that you don’t already know” thank goodness he is not my treating doctor and I tell you, I was very glad to walk out of that door at the end of that consultation and not look back…. If I could have run, I would have been out of there in a flash!!!

Do not recommend this doctor and would save your time, your pain, your money and your sanity and stick clear if possible.

He did my knee in 1992, 30 years without issue, he was abrupt, full of himself and perhaps arrogant as others have said, but he did an excellent job on my knee in 1992. He had a very healthy sense of humor in 1992 with some of his comments, but did a great job all the same.

This man is a disgrace to the medical profession, I saw him through my WC insurer, as they wanted to dispute my original Neurosuegon, who is well known in the industry. We hardly talked about my back issues, we actually talked about his dog and my dogs, as he asked me questions in regards to my home life, which I get. But even questions about my husband who had passed away and made comments like “life must be easier, with him out of the way” “bet you raised a glass when he passed away”. I was a little like WT and cranky, he asked if I had children and did they help me around the house etc. told him the truth, that I no longer speak with 1 daughter and my youngest daughter (17-18 at the time) had some mental health issues and yes it was hard. His reply was ‘She needs a kick up the proverbial backside and that should help her’. Hmmm excuse me. So based on a conversation about my family and the doctors I had been seeing, he told the insurer to deny my claim. This man is seriously a disgrace to the medical profession and should be removed from the all insurance companies, but I guess when your only interested in making big $$ lie lie lie and let people live with constant pain.

This Doctor is an absolute disgrace and did not listen to anything I had to say. He was my mysoginistic and tried to intimidate me during my entire appoint. He scoffed at my letter from my previous orthopedic surgeon, tried to make out I was lying and dismissed any of my concerns. Do not see him.

I have seen this Dr if you could actually use that term, regarding a workers comp injury, he gets paid big dollars from insurance companies, he actually diagnosed me with a disease that doesn't even exist I tried to google it & couldn't find it , so when I went back to my specialist ( Dr Ed Bateman) Orthopaedic surgeon he had never heard of it either, needless to say I won my case and the insurance company approved the 2 surges I needed, I think he is only after the money and doesn't care at all for people & their pain or well being, shame on all these kind of so called doctors.

This man has a hide calling himself a doctor he has no idea what he is doing he only knows how to kiss butt with the insurance companies he is not concerned with the person he is seeing he doesn't care about there health and well-being.He is a grub .

This so called 'Doctor's is easily brought ($$$) by insurance companies. I suffered a severe car accident that has completely ruined my life, yet he say's that there is nothing wrong at all. Rude, arrogant and condescending would be the nicest I could say about him. I'm trying to put my life back together and he has kicked it out from under me.
