I have been a patient of this doctor for more than 25 years. Almost certainly, I would not now be alive if it were not for her. She has always been meticulous and thorough in her diagnostic processes and has pushed me into taking much better health care of myself than I would have done, otherwise. Dr. Bromley is normally a compassionate and knowledgeable doctor but she can be acerbic at times - particularly if you start whinging. She is not good at keeping time because she will take the amount of time you really need for your condition. This can result in long, long waits - but when your turn comes you do not get hustled out of her surgery until she is sure that you have been dealt with properly. Dr Bromley is a very popular doctor and with good cause. I'm not sure if she is ableto take any new patients.

On more than one occassion, I have had to wait over 2 hours to see this doctor and there had been times when after waiting 90 minutes plus, she would take the patient that was meant to go in after me instead. There was never an apology for the long wait and if you said anything to her about it, her response was "then change doctors". Also, she will take calls from patients while in an appointment and these calls could be anywhere between 10-15 minutes. Dr Bromley diagnosed me with Polycystic Ovaries based on a blood test only, there was no ultrasound follow up and the blood tests were sitting on the boundary of normal. I was then put on medication for this issue. About 2 years later, I finally had enough and found a new doctor who after sending me for the correct tests discovered that in fact, I DO NOT have polycystic ovaries at all and had been on unnecessary medication for 2 years. The staff at the practice are rude and if you call them to find out how late she is running, they will lie and tell you she either isn't running late or only 30 minutes late and then when you get there, its still a two hour wait. On one occassion, I called and was told that she was running an hour late and that I should get to the practice at 1pm which I did and when I got there, the girl said I was late and they refused to believe that I had been told to get there by 1pm and would not put me back in the cue. When we were having problems with our son, we spent many appointments with this doctor trying to get the right psychologist to help with a diagnosis of Aspergers Syndrome and each referral she made was useless because they psychologist either didn't deal with ASD or with children. It took us 18 months to get the right referral. Under no circumstances will I ever go to this doctor again.
