Dr Rick Wilcox at Coogee Skin Cancer Clinic is a gem - the type of doctor that you are very glad to know is there if you need him. He not only took off moles without the usual fuss and scarring I have experienced, but was patient enough to briefly discuss a non-skin related surgical issue that happened to be upsetting me at the time, talking me through with a sensible approach. I will definitely be choosing him to check out any skin cancer concerns that might require removal in the future. Furthermore, when I was quite ill with a flu soon afterwards, and concerned that there was some infection from the mole removal, he straightaway took me in without waiting, quickly reassured me, and didn't charge for that because he knew I was on a pension. I have come to appreciate dr Rick Wilcox and his expertise and experience as he has been crucial in diagnosing and managing my skin cancers. From mapping and occasional zapping, recommending medications and creams to biopsies and incisions they’re all done with meticulous care, thoughtfulness and precision.
