Consulted Dr Thomas to have a hip replacement over 3years ago. He was very professional in his approach and has a caring manner. Since having the procedure I have completely recovered and continue to enjoy competitive kayaking in my age group. Would recommend him to everyone.

I'm particularly disturbed by the Rating 17.09.16 . . this is not the Dr. Malcolm Thomas who has done two arthroscopies and a hip replacement for me, and will soon do a shoulder replacement. I have had no problems with any of the surgeries, and found Mr. Thomas (a busy man) just lovely. The person who wrote that old revue is most likely the kind of person who finds fault with everything and everyone and probably didn't follow post operative instructions. All three surgeons mentioned are well respected medically and personally.

I had kneecap realignmenment surgery done 10 years ago followed by knee replacement 3 months later after being convinced by the then surgeon he didnt believe the original sugery would be successful but due to my age at the time (42) he had to show the replacement was justified under medicare. I was to have both knees done but I opted for one at a time. Thankfully. I percervered with the other knee and 2 years ago saw Mr Thomas. I have never looked back. At first I thought the kneecap realighnment he performed didnt work but patience and perceverence paid off. It is the best thing that has happened especially as now my replaced knee is nearing its use by date and will have to undergo another which will only leave me the option of one more replacement later in life.
