When my son (11 years old at the time) was diagnosed with diabetes, Dr. Mauseth was recommended to us by my son's pediatrician. Dr. Mauseth was extremely helpful, spent a lot of time with my son going over many issues even though our appointment was on short notice. He got my son going in the right direction, in using insulin, testing, diet etc. He knows how to communicate with kids and people generally. He has a nice manner, easy to relate to, but very knowledgeable. We moved out of the area after a while. We did not like having to leave Dr. Mauseth's care.

The BEST endocrinologist there is. He is nationally acclaimed for a good reason. Very approachable, extremely knowledgeable and encouraging to parents trying to keep their children's diabetic numbers under control. He has an excellent teaching ability and lays out a user-friendly diabetic care plan for parents/children. Friendly staff and and low wait time for appointments.

specializes in Pediatric Endocrinology - we couldn't ask for a better Dr. for our Diabetic daughter... very knowledgeable, has a great staff, is very understanding but won't give any slack if you aren't taking care of yourself which is great for our teenager's accountability. Would recommend him to anyone who needed his services!!!
