REQUEST FOR MY RECORDS LEAD TO IMMEDIATE TERMINATION.

I've been seeing Jovel Broqueza for many years. I even followed her to her new practice, Balance & Wellbeing LLC. Everything was great! Even when my insurance stopped covering my visits, I started to pay out of pocket. Everything changed when I requested my medical records, which lead to being terminated in that same email (effective same day with no notice) for having a balance, even though I was on a payment plan. I was only terminated after I requested records.

HORRIBLE woman. I have treatment resistant bipolar and finally sought out help; mentioned that I struggle with ADD and was immediately put on adderall. Any knowledgeable doctor would know that adderall obviously makes mania, agitation, and anxiety more intense… Spoke to me for no longer than 10 minutes. Extremely unprofessional, uninformed, and honestly immature. Manifesting very bad things for her future.

I never leave reviews but I feel like I need to warn others that this is a horrible place with incompetent staff who do not treat their patients with the care and respect that they deserve. I do not recommend anyone who is struggling with mental health concerns to be treated by a practitioner here, because your experience will not only fail to help you, but will also negatively impact your well-being. I saw Jovel Broqueza and she was the most unprofessional and unkind practitioner I have ever worked with. If you are considering going here or seeing Jovel Broqueza, don’t. Find another practitioner that will provide you with a more professional and personable approach.

Jovel Broqueza is not someone I could ever recommend to another person who is struggling. She did not keep any records of my care and refused to prescribe me medication that I asserted was the ONLY one I'd ever been on that alleviated my chronic suicidality simply because she is "not a fan" of it. Instead she unnecessarily up-ed my dosage of another medication and then literally laughed in my face for a full 20 seconds after I admitted something deeply personal and not at all humorous to her. She is not a pleasant person or doctor and she should, in my opinion, not have a license. Extremely unprofessional and rude.

Please trust the negative reviews! Please! I could never recommend Jovel Broqueza in good faith and conscious. I was a patient of Jovel while she worked at one of her many different locations. Jovel was a horrific experience, and in my strong opinion, Jovel should not be Nurse Practitioner or licensed! I was misdiagnosed, placed on incorrect medication, mistakes were made during the transition not once but three times! Upon each visit as I was spiraling into a dangerous manic state, she became angry, curt, unresponsive, more neglectful, and refused to reevaluate the medication dosage, but rather dismissed me and quit in the middle of treatment with a huff of a temper tantrum when I finally spoke up, which thankfully led me to seek immediate care by my physician. Her care was an extremely sloppy, unprofessional, and dangerous decision by Jovel, which speaks volumes of her character and lack of professionalism, and ability to treat patients. My M.D was shocked by her irresponsible treatment and advised I should have been hospitalized if treatment continued by this "nurse." This has all been documented by my M.D and myself, as proof if ever needed! Please please stay away.

I do NOT in any way, shape or form recommend Dr Jovel Broqueza. I do NOT want anyone to come close to the experiences I have had with this person. She is unprofessional and rude. She doesn't keep track of medications and dosages. She doesn't track your progress (if any) or take notes. She lacks ALL scheduling organizational skills. Out of every time I had seen her (which was many), she had our time and date of appointment correct TWICE. Every other time has been a disaster with a lot of unprofessionalism. She consistently argued with me about scheduling. She did not help my anxiety or depression. I do not want anyone to end up wasting their time and money on this person. It wouldn't be fair to someone who is looking for professional help, like I was. I can only hope that if you are considering this person as psychiatrist that you will hopefully take my advice to look elsewhere. When I took her on as a psychiatrist, she did not have reviews yet so I had nothing to go on and I believe I learned my lesson.

My daughter was seeing Jovel Broqueza ( A Nurse Practitioner.) -with no improvements back in 2019. Jovel's attitude was less than professional and her mannerisms were jejune, to say the least. The medication she was giving my daughter was making her worse, and when challenged, Jovel became agitated and defensive in an alarming nature. We immediately sought care elsewhere, where my daughter is now thriving, happy, and healthy while taking the correct medication and dosage. We can not in good faith recommend Jovel Broqueza.

Jovel Angela V. Broqueza
was a nightmare of an experience. This nurse completely misdiagnosed my illness by placing me on incorrect medication not once but twice. When she was called out on her error she became juvenile and immediately stormed out of the room and quit. Speaks volumes of her character and lack of, along with any organization that would allow such dangerous behavior for their patients.
