Staff is rude, incompetent, uncaring, and cancels appts you’ve waited months for without your permission. It took them 4-5 months to submit to my insurance correctly to get a predetermination and even then, they didn’t submit the proper documentation that would allow the insurance group to correctly assess the treatment plan. I could have completed a very large chunk of my treatment plan by then at any other competent office. I requested a call back multiple times from the office manager to try to tell her to resubmit with proper documentation and I still have not received a call. It’s been 2 months since I requested a call back. Unbelievable. Attempted to ask their admin staff, Cynthia, to request this call back and she hung up on me in the middle of me making this request and then stated she didn’t hear me. Rude, incompetent, uncaring.

The problem I had was an aggressive gum infection that had caused a 10 mm gap on the facial (outer) side of tooth 19 (a molar in the middle of the lower left side). The distance from top of tooth to bottom of root is only 12 mm. I was referred to Dr. Soleymani by my dentist, who has referred his patients to Dr. Soleymani for many years. I told Dr. Soleymani that I wanted to keep my tooth. After taking 2 X-rays, he explained to me that if I didn't have it extracted he wouldn't be able to get rid of 100% of the infection and that the infection was beginning to attack tooth 18 next to it. So I decided to allow him to do the extraction. The entire procedure we agreed upon was osseous surgery, extraction, and bone grafting, to be followed by an implant and crown (by my dentist) in 4 months. He prescribed an antibiotic for me to start taking the night before the procedure (after asking me what i was allergic to) and a souped up ibuprofen (600 mg tablet!) to start taking 1 hour before the procedure. When I made my appointment with his office manager, she quoted me the price I would have to pay Dr. Soleymani after my Delta Dental insurance paid him its share. When I came into the office 3 days later to have the procedure done I was 45 minutes late because the traffic was extremely bad and I had to get past 2 accidents on the freeway but he said that was ok. However, he told me that she had made a BIG mistake in quoting the price she did. I pointed out to him that that was the price she quoted me. Do you know, he decided to stand by the price she quoted, even though it amounted to giving me a HUGE discount! I told him that I didn't want him to fire or do anything to her or I would be very upset! He told me that he wouldn't. I told him I have Care Credit but he told me the amount wasn't enough to give me the interest free financing. Feeling guilty, I told him that if I paid him 1/2 of the amount that was left out of the quote I could use Care Credit. He told me that wasn't necessary. Ok. So then he went to work. Do you know that when he administered the novocaine, I didn't even feel the needle the first time it went in? I required a lot of novocaine, let me tell you! When Dr. Soleymani started the last tug to pull the tooth out, I indicated to him that it hurt and he stopped and gave me more novocaine no problem. He explained to me that the reason I needed more novocaine was that the infection was very severe. So after he extracted the tooth and looked at what the infection was doing to tooth 18 he says to his assistant who was helping him "Oh my God!" He then proceeded to clean out every bit of the infection and then to complete the bone grafting. Then he was finished. The entire procedure took 1 hour, that's it! He then told me everything that I needed to know about the after care I needed to do (antibiotic 3 tabs a day for a week, ibuprofen 3 tabs a day as needed, cold pack against my cheek 20 minutes on 20 minutes off for 4 hours, no nuts, chips, or anything crunchy for 10 days, no hot liquids for 10 days, chew only on the right side of my mouth for 4 MONTHS "oy vey"!) I'm sitting at my dining room table writing this review, the novocaine's worn off, and the pain is already beginning to decrease even though it's only been 5 1/2 hours since the procedure was completed. I think you should be able to tell from this review that Dr. Soleymani is an EXTREMELY GOOD periodontist and a VERY KIND MAN! I'd give him more than 20 stars, but this website isn't set up for that!

After going to another office for an implant consultation, I am very happy I found Dr. Soleymani. He spent time and thoroughly explained everything I needed to know. He is truly and expert in his field. He also showed me a lot of before/after pictures of his work and his work is incredible. His office staff were extremely nice and helpful. I decided to do the treatment with him and couldn't be any happier. The results were great! I highly recommend Dr. Soleymani!
