I was told that I needed a filling on a good tooth (showed x-rays afterward to other dentist). Dr.Huckel drilled so deep on my heathly tooth that I ended up having a root canal. Definitely there to make money.

I too have had a terrible experience with Dr. Huckle. I was told I needed to replace all the amalgam fillings due to mercury poisoning risk. I spent thousands of dollars on this, and now those inlays and veneers are cracking after just a few years. The insurance won't pay to replace them because it is too soon after a filling was put in place.

Also, one of the inlays he put on one of the back teeth didn't cover the whole tooth. As a result, there was a lot of leakage and I had to have a root canal. I experienced the worst pain of my life before I could get scheduled with my present dentist. If I'd left the old filling in there, I probably could have avoided the whole thing. There was very extensive infection because there was a big gap between the filling and the tooth that I could very easily see by shining a light in my mouth. My present dentist told me it should have had a crown. I'm going to guess that Dr. Huckle used an inlay because it is cheaper. At this point, going to Dr. Huckle is one of the biggest regrets of my life. I would strongly discourage anyone from using him. When I look back, I remember how he really pressured me to change my fillings. My present dentist also uses non-mercury fillings, but does not pressure me to change any of my fillings, saying that if they aren't giving me trouble I shouldn't change them. I'm writing this in hopes that someone can learn from my mistakes.

I received a teeth whitening as a gift and then was pressured by Dr. Huckle into procedures I did not want nor need. I have an autoimmune disease that affects the gums, and Dr. Huckle promised to discuss the whitening with my specialist. He never called and lied about it, saying it was perfectly safe for me when it wasn't! Luckily, I called my specialist before the cleaning. Dr. Huckle told me how important it was to remove all of the fillings I had had put in as a child because, as he said, they caused health risks. He put on very expensive veneers. As it turns out, the procedure he performed actually puts you at risk for mercury poisoning. To top things off, Dr. Huckle badmouthed my regular dentist! It is now seven years out, and every one of these veneers have shattered. The seventh tooth shattered just today. The first one broke after only 9 months. I wish to warn everyone to avoid this HORRIBLE dentist. He does not care about the patient - only money.

Dr. Huckle is not friendly, his hygienist spends at best 20 minutes on the cleaning, and both of them pressure patients to undergo more dental work than is needed. They also push cosmetic dentistry on you. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Great - as always!! Dr. Balescu inspires so much confidence. She is great at what she does, so personable and skilled at understanding each of her patient's unique set of needs, and the staff is wonderful as well. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I've been a client for several years, and I've had extensive work done to remove old amalgam fillings. Whether I'm having work done or having a regular check-up, Dr. Balescu and the Dental Hygienists (with one exception) are always professional, careful, and truly listen to concerns. The Princeton Center for Dental Aesthetics is the only dental practice that I've ever attended where I don't mind having a dental appointment. I've always dreaded the dentist, but not here. It's an excellent practice, using the latest dental technology, and I recommend it.

I have never had an experience with any dentist that was as pleasant as with Dr. Huckel. His office is beautiful, his staff is extremely pleasant, and he is incredibly knowledgable. I felt very comfortable with him, and he really took the time to explain to me the treatment I needed. I have always been an anxious patient, and I honestly have never felt this relaxed in a dental chair. I came in to have my treatment done and his work is excellent! I am very satisfied with the service at his office and am bringing my whole family to see Dr. Huckel!!

Had a crown put on, went back complaining 3x that I was in a lot of pain. Finally went to another dentist who took an X-ray and said there was an abscess under the crown. The 2nd dentist also said a root canal should have been done. Now I will have to go through another ordeal after already suffering for several weeks. Staff was also very pushy about the money and getting paid before insurance- I felt very pressured to put a lot of money on my credit card.

I went for an exam which was to be 100% covered by my insurance, and I'm left witha bill of $188.00. They did not verify coverage ahead of time, so I have to pay for my x-rays. They also offered a fluoride treatment and a velscope at my visit but failed to inform me those were not covered so I had to pay for those as well. I also needed to have work done, but neither the dentist nor the staff would explain exactly what I have to have done - instead I am to come back for a consultation to find out. My call to the office to ask questions about my bill has not been returned. I'll be taking my business elsewhere!
