Telehealth appointment: Deb Reynolds made my mother cry today. Mom has MS and COPD and is having vertigo like symptoms; she has had vertigo in the past. Deb first told her that she should have never made this appointment having no respiratory problems, that these appoints are "to hard to get" if it's not respiratory... Then she told her that since she doesn't live alone someone should take her to the ER-- my mother does live alone. Then Deb proceeded to call her in prescriptions that 1. My mom had told her she could get otc cheaper, and Deb said not in this dose --well, yes in this dose, it's Dramamine meclazine 25mg 2. Called her in zofran when she was told explicitly that mom had tried it and it was not helping. Please keep in mind my mom's normal doctor recommended this because he had no space available, and knew that mom was not able to drive herself based on the symptoms.
