Very kind and knowledgeable, first time I have ever been to a Dr where I was seen at the actual time of my appointment.

Dr. Gupta is very knowledgeable however his receptionist is not. She interrupts you constantly, she hangs up on you when you’re in the middle of asking questions and is just all around unprofessional. My prescription refill faxes never get through to my pharmacy yet I am being denied to have a copy of my prescription emailed to me when I have already had to get an emergency refill from my pharmacist. If I was able to get a new neuro just to have a better receptionist to deal with I would. I am beyond frustrated with his staff.

Dr Gupta is great, but he needs new staff. This is not a new comment, other people have stated this as well. The woman who runs his reception area and booking his appointments is useless. I was told I would have a follow-up appointment in 6 months and that I will receive a phone call from the office with my appointment date. The appointment was to be in November, today is November 1st so I called the office as I have not heard from them. The admin told me that my appointment is booked in 2 weeks and she was going to call me with a "reminder" three or four days ahead of time. When I explained to her that it isn't a reminder if I didn't know about the appointment in the first place and that ideally a patient would be given more than three or four days notice for an appointment she argued with me. She kept talking over me and would not let me explain my issue. Luckily I am available that day for the appointment.

I wish it was just one small thing like that, however one of the first times I was in his office I watched her put my paperwork in somebody else's file and then move to put it away. I mentioned that I think she put my paperwork in the wrong folder and she pretended as if it was just an everyday "oops". The woman is incompetent and should not be running a medical office.

Dr. Gupta might have saved my life. My GP made the referral because of chronic headaches but he never once diagnosed the cause. I had an MRI and was referred to Dr. Gupta. He went through the results of the MRI, assuring me all was well but noted my BP was dangerously high and likely not white coat syndrome. Recommended I buy a BP monitor, take my BP twice daily for 2 weeks and get results to my GP. I'm now meds I should have been on years ago . My BP is stable and no more headaches. I might be dead if not for Dr. Gupta!

I don't know if this doctor is any good. I have had so many problems with the office staff just trying to get feedback from a blood test I had to pay the lab for. Receptionist told me lab results were misplaced. After many months I am still waiting to see doctor or get a face-time appointment. I have been trying to get help since 2020.

I was pleasantly surprised, after reviews I was expecting rude and incompetent, Dr. Gupta was kind and knowledgeable and explained everything.

Dr. Gupta is by far the rudest medical professional I've ever dealt with. On top of that, the receptionist was equally rude and condescending. I am not at all surprised to read so many negative reviews here.

The incompetence of Dr. Gupta staff is simply astounding. I have been referred to a hospital in Toronto for surgery. This hospital has yet to receive my referral. It’s been four years since the referral was to be sent. My follow up calls to Dr. Gupta’s office have resulted in the receptionist speaking over me, hanging up on me, and just generally being rude. It’s been an unbelievably frustrating experience dealing with Dr. Gupta’s office.

In June of 2019, I started seeing Dr. Gupta after I suffered from encephalitis where I was in a coma for approximately two weeks, following a two month stay at the hospital. I am grateful to have received the care and support from the staff at Dr. Gupta’s office. I was provided with all around positive experiences such as my appointments always being on time, finding the proper medication to help with my seizures and the receptionist always being courteous and polite.
