This doctor only wants to serve the rich!!!! He doesn't want to help people that are actually sick, because he says they cost him to much of his time!!! He will shove every supplement that stocks in his office, because the profit is so great. He hires very young nurses that don't know what they are doing, because he wants pretty girls to work for him, for his own ego. He tells everyone they have Lyme disease.. because of the profit, and everyone has to have an IV again for the profit. Stay clear, unless you want to be sick forever, and lose all of your money for this guy who only cares about a profit!!!

Having read some of the other comments, I wanted to add our experience. I had been sick for years, and after seeing a family doctor, internist, multiple allergists, and gastro doctor, I was told I was fine (clearly not fine when I was losing everything I ate after every meal). I was referred by a friend to Dr. Fetters and saw Dr. Fetters as well as Swathi Rao and Karin Henderson. We did have some expensive tests and took his supplements, and it was very worth it. I will always be grateful to Dr. Fetters and staff for helping me get my health and life back. My kids were also seen there and their health is much improved as well. I have 3 with ADD and with the diet and supplements recommended by Health and Wellness, all are drug free, feeling well and doing well in school. The front office did seem to have some organizational issues, but we always had very professional, knowledgeable, and loving care from this office. I trust and highly recommend Dr. Fetters.

This practice, though likely founded with good ideals, has become a supplement selling scheme with a 2000 dollar surcharge to see the physician. Be prepared to be told to take 8-16 supplements a day, which of course, you must buy from him. If you have heavy metals, (a $700 test, he will tell you that you need to spend $4500 with him in chelation treatments). Nice guy, but I think his intentions have become clouded.

I started with Dr. Fetters about 5 years ago, before he moved to his current facility. From the first visit I found the front office staff to be very poor and that trend has continued. While Dr. Fetters was a good physician, he changed to a concierge practice about 3 years ago that required an additional fee of almost $2,000 to have the opportunity to continue to work with Fetters. I tried 1 year and found that it wasn't worth the extra cash. His practice business philosophy relies heavily on the sale of supplements and he drifted into using his supplements instead of proscribing regulated, insurance reimbursed drugs. None of his supplements ever did me any good. I switched to Doug Ladika, PA in his office and was very happy with Doug. I have only recently found out that Fetters has "released" all of his PAs and is now an entirely holistic practice which leaves me without a primary care physician and oh, by the way, the practice never did inform me of the change.Don't go there.

I have called and left 3 messages and have yet to have my call returned. It has now been 10 days. NO customer service. Clearly they do not care about the well-being of their patients.

This is not a traditional medicine practice. I liked the time they spent with me but didn't like that they tried to sell me Fetter's own holistic medicines. These were not cheap. I went to a PA. There staff was excellent - very helpful. When I switched practices, my new doctor found problems that had not been identified by Dr. Fetters office...although they turned out not to be serious (but could have been).

I saw a Physicians Assistant at Health and Wellness of Carmel in December of 2009 for a sinus infection.I was prescribed an antibiotic (AVELOX) in spite of the fact that my chart states that I have a Seizure Risk. This was because Karin Henderson, PA-C did not read my chart or list of current medications. There was no apparent supervision by Dr. Fetters. I also have a history of anxiety and depression which makes this a poor choice for me. I do not want someone else to go tho this Clinic and experience worse consequences than I did. Luckily I read inserts before taking any prescription. Buyer Beware.

Dr. Fetters will do anything he can to find answers for you and to help. His skills and knowledge out weight that of several specialists I have seen. If he doesn't know, he'll learn about it. He is not too pride to take info from a patient on a subject he's not an expert in. He works WITH you and will take your thoughts and ideas into consideration when making diagnoses and treatment decisions. He has learned alot about integrative health which makes him a better doctor. He is always polite and kind, and compassionate. He is a great listener. In reference to the above rating, there was a period where his office was out of order, and he replaced almost his entire staff and implemented a much more efficient working order in his office. There is a huge change change in the efficacy of the office. He has helped me more than any internist or rheumatologist. He is a busy doctor because he's a great doctor, but once you are a patient it is not too difficult to get in with him.

I love the amount of time Dr. Fetters spends with you and the fact that he has changed his outlook on medicine. He takes an intergrated approach with how he treats you. Always looking for a natural approach as opposed to always turning to pharmacuticals. Knowing that I don't have insurance, he always takes care not to order excessive tests.
