I registered a senor colon screen at Stony Brook Hospital, It was assigned to Dr. Farah Monzur. She is such a rude person. I called her 3 times for a question when she pass right by my waiting bed, she just purposely ignored. I had very bad feeling on her, and try to cancel the procedure, but it was too late. The colonoscopy procedure results even shocks me. She just made 6 random cuts on my colon without a single polyp evident. I asked her for the polyp photo evidences multiple times. she did not give direct answer. I am so angry about her unethic behaviors. Her malpractice is reported and in the processing now.
She just does the opposite of colon cancer screen: CREAE POSSIBLE CHANCE TO GROW CANCERS AND HURT PATIENT IN AN ARBITARY MANNER!
Now go back to look on herself introduction on the doctor page, it brings me a deep chilly feelings. WHAT HAPPEND IN THE STONY BROOK HOSPITAL! HOW CAN "FARAH MONZUR" BE A DOCTOR THERE! WHY MAKE EXTRA CHARGE ON A 100% COVERED COLON SCREEN BY SAYING "so many polyps had been found"????

Dr. Monzur administered my most recent colonoscopy at Stony Brook Hospital. I was impressed with her manner, and also with the care and thoughtfulness with which she treated her staff and assistants.

Uncaring, arrogant doctor. My 87 year old father, suffering from dementia, showed up 20 minutes late for an appointment. He had dropped his hearing aid on the floor and spent 20 minutes trying to find it. We eventually had to leave the house without it, even though this means Dad was deaf for the day. When we arrived at Dr Monzur's office, she refused to see him. Regardless of the loss of his hearing aid, she felt he should be punished for arriving late and we were told to leave. There was only 1 other patient in the waiting room (the waiting room has 50 seats). I asked if we could come back later in the day, so that our tardiness did not affect other patients. She said no.
