Had a great experience from the office to the operating room and after. Everyone was very helpful and respectful. Recovery went as expected and I was back to golf in no time!

Really great experience. She really takes the time to walk through every step of your care. Is willing to stay late to get the job done which is not my experience with other physicians will call you back at any hour if you have questions. Thoroughly impressed

Dr. Santarosa repaired my husbands inguinal hernia with the robot! It has been amazing experience with her. She genuinely cares about her patients, calls and checks on them, and totally is in medicine for the correct reason. My husband is doing well, up and walking on the 2nd day after surgery and couldn't feel better. I am going to be sure to recommend her to anyone that is looking for a fantastic general surgeon.

Had a wonderful experience with Dr Santarosa. One month prior, I underwent a botched hernia by another surgeon and was referred to her by a friend. She came highly recommended when I asked several of my friends that happen to work in the hospital. She was able to not only remove the previous mesh, but closed the hernia defect (not done previously), and place a wide piece of mesh over hernia, but she did it all through a few tiny incisions. I only required a few pain pills. She was very helpful throughout the whole experience and even called me at home to check up on me. I would absolutely recommend her to anybody!!

I noticed I the reviews I've read that most of them gave her a five star rating,but the very first one I read is similar to the one I had. My husband contracted respiratory promblems , that was discovered after he was prep for surgery. He went into a fib. Cardiologist called in said he was not in any condition to go for surgery which was scheduled for the next day. She came in to talk with him about surgery, I informed her as to what the cardiologist said her words were "they don't tell her what to do. I just politely told her, he is not going to surgery. The technique that she developed was to help my husband with a very serious hernia problem. I wish I could post what some other physicians said about my husbands treatment. I would be very careful with her, and always get a second opinion. That ordeal with my husband being treated by her was a mess. Everyone has to make there own choice as to who they in trust there healthcare t, just saying BE CAREFUL.
