After finally admitting to myself I needed help I was lucky to be referred to Dr. Bains. Twenty plus years of depression, insomnia and being a workaholic had really taken its toll. Dr.Bains was instrumental in my recovery. Finally figuring out proper prescriptions tailored to my specific needs with Dr. Bains was huge. He is very focused on what you are telling him and has very good insights on how a healthy recovery can work for you. I like how he encouraged me to dig deep and deal with things that I had buried, but were contributors to my depression and other problems. I can honestly say that Dr. Bains changed my life and he may have saved it to be honest.

I have seen many doctors over the last few years, by far i have found Dr. Bains to be the most helpful. He is empathetic and actually engaged me in meaningful dialogue to help me work through some stuff. he does a lot more than just hand out another prescription. i am grateful. it is rare to find a doctor that actually takes the time, and you dont feel rushed. he is genuine and very knowledgeable.

I found Dr. Bains to be quite professional. He was very concerned with issues specific to my case. IHe got me off medications from previous psychiatrist and follows up. However appointment were often cancelled by his office...

So far I have found this doctor to extremely reasonable in his approach, helpful, And a fantastic listener. Great with getting me off medications and suggesting new ones/monitoring them if necessary. Quite concerned with your well being.... reviewed progress and willing to see me as often as necessary. Far better than previous colleague. I feel at ease with this doctor. Grateful for the referral to him and for his methodology and education/credentials within our community. :)
