I would rate this “so-called” Dr. Craig Brooker, a -10. I have serious concerns about my cognitive health, I notice that it’s getting worse. He dismissed me, ignored my concerns, talked in a robotic voice like he reciting a text book.
During my appointment, Dr. Brooker was arrogant, lacked empathy and compassion while dismissing my concerns as stress, depression and a normal part of aging. His responses and recommendations didn’t even apply to me. I felt like a number, not an human being. All the while, I know my body, and I truly know something is happening to me.
I left my appointment feeling very discouraged and angry. Please, please do not go to this doctor. After reading this doctor’s reviews, my experience mirrors all the other negative reviews.

This is the 2nd appt I have had with him. He chooses to not listen. Recommend I read web md websitr, His answer is to try new meds. How many meds do I need to take. I have been dealing with migraines over 25 yrs. He spent the first part of my visit telling me that I did not submit my information the correct way on the patient portal. Then he read the 3 page letter that I sent him out loud to me. I know what I wrote!! I have severe debilitating migraines 3-4 days a week and have for many years although he claims I don’t have chronic migraines! He tells me I have medicine overuse migraines but then follows up with that I need to take additional medication. He treats me like a test rabbit! When I became frustrated with him he questioned my moods and indicated that I could take antidepressants!!! I go on but I did request a new neurologist,
There are multiple neurologists at this clinic. Make sure you request someone other than him.

I have never written a bad review about anything in my life. But after my apportionment with Dr Booker I felt I needed to share. I couldn't have hated a doctor more. He seemed unsympathetic in spite of using all the right words. He is like a creepy robot with absolutely NO compassion. He didn't listen and didn't review any of my symptoms with me. He just wanted to talk about one aspect. I had been seen at Swedish ER two days prior with a paralized foot and numbness in my fingers. So my visit, he read the notes. Ran a few basic, follow my finger type things. When I told him there were many other things that had been troubling me over the last few months. He said well lets just address one thing at a time. You are here for foot drop. REALLY? that is how you practice medicine, with just looking at one thing and not considering everything as a whole? He told me it was stress and all in my head. However I had been experiencing strange symptoms and sensations well before I became stressed. It felt he was very dismissive. And he called for someone to come talk to me about my stress. How insulting. I asked to see another Doctor. One who will hopefully take me seriously. I live in my body and I know when something isn't right. How dare he write me off. He's a robotic creep. Really if you can avoid it, don't see this doctor.

This provider was awful. He did not listen, did not read the notes or records, seemed extremely detached and disinterested, and provided no help or insight. All he did was make me feel stressed and insulted. Kaiser should not be charging people to see this man. He was quite unnerving in demeanor and showed no evidence of his medical knowledge/expertise. When I communicated that I was having difficulty communicating with him due to what I felt was his his total disinterest, he very clearly (the other person with me agreed) did a bit of a smirk/chuckle combo. This might be because he was feeling awkward, but this did not come across well at all and made it even more difficult for me to access the care for which I came. I would never recommend this provider.

Dr. Brooker tries hard to seem polite. If you are looking for answers to your questions, do not waste your time. Dr. Brooker has his own agenda. He does not listen to the patient, but rather speaks very quickly on topics which are of interest to him. His knowledge consists of nothing more than what a patient can find on any medical website. It was an absolute waste of time and quite frankly an insult to pay for quality medical care only to be told to read the Mayo website? Good grief. Awful.

In 2013 I met with Dr. Brooker about a recently discovered brain tumor discovered after passed out (cause unknown) and hit my head and face after falling. I was scared but had my list of suggested questions by the Mayo.Clinic website. When I inquired as to the cause and nature of tumors, Dr Brooker said, "You are old (I had just turned 60 the month before.), useless, so what did I expect?". I expected not to be catagorized as old and useless. I expected respect to be reciprocated. I expected him to inform me what I wanted to know. I expected fair unbiased treatment or a referral to someone who would. I expected to be listened to and some questions be answered. I expected a professional since I was paying him. Now 3.5 years later and a recent MRI taken which shows a slightly larger tumor and increased symptoms of balance problems and many bad falls later not to be rereferred to this person. My blood pressure skyrockets as I think about sitting in his office wanting help and being verbally demeaned for no reason. I deserve more from a doctor and person.
