While I liked Dr. Apiado as a person I left this practice because of her office manager- which I believe is her mother. This woman is RUDE and uncaring. I waited 10 days for test results and when I called to inquire she told me it could take two weeks! (This was for a very basic test LYME test that has been run by my pediatrician for our kids numerous times. SOmehow they get their results in 3 days.) Since leaving I have talked to three others who left her because of the office manager and a similar situation.

I would not recommend Dr. Apiado under any circumstances. My first impression of her was that Dr. Apiado was a sweet, caring and professional. I eventually discovered that she has the capacity to display a vile, irrational temper and a bone-chilling lack of human compassion. I am frightened of her and I will never go near her or her office ever again. This is just my own opinion based on my own experiences with Dr. Apiado, and you should do as you see fit, but I recommend that you find another doctor.
