My daughter has being seeing Dr. Miglis for 2 years. In fact we drive 5 hours to see him. He is always on time and spends a great amount of time with us and ensures all of our questions or concerns have been answered before we leave. Dr. Miglis is a lifesaver!!! My daughter suffered for over 2 years and went to countless specialists with no help. One trip to Dr. Miglis and she was on the road to recovery. He told us we would not leave until we had Answers and he was Right! He ordered several tests and we had answers before we left. Best doctor ever.

i saw this guy at stanford medical a few years ago for a rare dx. i was doing a test that dr. jaradeh requested and it was difficult for me to do and complete but i did it. as i was trying to recuperate from the test on the table, this guy said and in exact quotation, "hurry up and get off the table because i have other patients to see." his assistant looked at me with puppy dog eyes that let me know she had nothing to do with what he said and it made her think, "did he really say that?" i left stanford medical in tears combined with the staff that was rude to me and combined with dr. jaradeh not helping me on my first visit - may be my chart noted by dr. jaradeh said my condition was in my head and that is why this guy was underhandedly rude to me and rushed me during the test. is he smart, i dont know. is he helpfful i dont know. did he look professional with that ridiculous attitude of his, yes and yes but may be he took too much care for his professional looks because his hair had a bottle of gel in it and his suit was pressed. anyways, i would never ever go back to that specialty since he and dr. jaradeh were a dynamic let down and with lack of care from staff it is too bad that impacted me where i wouldnt even go stanford medical at all.

Very down to earth. One of the best doctors I have visited.

He not only did not listen to me tell my symptoms, he corrected me on what they are. This led to misdiagnosis and a prescribed treatment that would have been dangerous for me given my medical condition. He also did not finish putting his orders for follow up tests and pre-authorization requests into the hospital system, though i did leave his office with the tests scheduled. Because he did not follow through, and there was no pre-authorization, the tests were not covered by insurance., making them extremely costly. Stanford said that it was dr. M who dropped the ball, because without his entering the order requests, the other depts like billing have nothing to go on.

I saw Dr. Miglis for postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) related insomnia. During the appointment, I explained that I was currently taking Lorazepam and had previously been taking Restoril. Dr. Miglis suggested I switch to Lunesta. I followed his advice and experienced a suffering that is simply indescribable. What I did not realize at the time was that I was going through benzodiazepine withdrawal. I left two messages for Dr. Miglis during this time seeking his help and advice. He did not return my phones calls. I'm not sure what is worse...an insomnia doctor who doesn't understand the necessity of tapering off of benzos or a doctor that cares so little for his patients that he doesn't bother to return their phone calls. I would not recommend Dr. Miglis under any circumstances.
