Dr. Zapf and Dr. Benson performed a Left Foot Base Wedge Osteotomy and a McBride Bunionectomy on my daughter. The surgery failed leaving her with a severe malunion of the 1st metatarsal and extensive bone loss. She underwent two complex reconstructive surgeries at Cedars-Sinai to repair the damage done . Bone grafting , fusion and a large plate help my daughters foot together . These doctors should never be allowed to perform surgery of any kind. They mutilated my daughter.
