If you are looking for a Dr with excellent interpersonal skills & warm and fuzzy, Dr James may not be for you. But if you want a dr who cares enough to get to the bottom of your problems & is extremely knowledgable in helping find the underlying causes to your health problems - then she is amazing! Couldn't be happier with her!

I have been seeing Dr Robyn for a couple of years now. She takes a lot of care and is very clear about the price and treatment so that I can make a decision as to what I can afford and what treatments are available. I let her know I prefer natural treatment where possible and that I am not able to have heaps of appointments and also didn't have a lot of money so she works with me to still get the treatment I need. As to the comments below I would add that Robyn is very straight forward and slightly blunt but I prefer this to a doctor who 'beats around the bush' and doesn't give you the information you really need. I had a long standing issue which I saw multiple doctors about over the years with no success but Dr Robyn noticed my symptoms and let me know my options straight away. She is a breath of fresh air and even though I have to travel quite a distance to see her I believe it is definitely worth it.

Dr Robyn James has just moved into my suburb. I dropped in as my regular GP is going onto further medical training and I was looking for someone new. She looked as if I had broken onto her house. I explained I had a complicated medical history and that id like to make an appointment to see if we would be a good fit. She said "before you go on I want to tell you about my fees". She spent about 10 minutes flaking about the cost of different fees cancellations fees that she took credit card etc etc. I was so surprised that I stated I didn't mind about the fees as long as I got could care. To which she replied "you wouldn't come to me if you had a serious medical condition, we aren't set up for that. It would change the model of care." I am not sure what on earth this GP is supposed be doing but she seems more concerned with not being bothered and making sure patients can pay then actually treating people. I usually am quite forgiving with GPs, they have a tough job but this woman is a complete imposter. I'm sure she's great for people with too much money, no sense and hypochondriacs that want lots of tests but have nothing actually wrong with them.

I have been seeing Dr James for the last 4 years or so. I find her knowledge and thoroughness of great assistance. Due to the thoroughness of the tests that she did for me, I have never been so well. She diagnosed a dondition that my regular GP hadnt even looked for, and through her treatments, both traditional, alternative and nutritional, I am now better than I have been for years.

Doctor James is still operating in Bald Hills at a house for the time being. The clinic will move to Brighton at the end of August. The phone number is still the same however there has been some difficulty with patients getting through on the line. There has been intermittent messages saying the line is disconnected. Tesltra is trying to rectify the situation. The clinic can be contacted via email which is medicalclinicforwomen@yahoo.com.

I agree that the move was not handled professionally. I was in need of a new script and had no idea where she had moved. No phone, no notice on door. I feel a text or letter to all patients would have been good. I need my medication daily. Thankfully I was able to find another Dr to write out my script. I wish her all the best at Brighton, but don't know if I will continue seeing Dr James.

Robyn James is shifting premises to Brighton sometime in June. I'm surprised there is no notice on the door. Can you contact her via email?

Can anyone tell me what has happened with Dr James's clinic? The phone no longer works, the office is completely empty, there is no sign on the door explaining where she has gone, As a patient I have had no correspondence informing the clinic was closing, has closed or is moving. It seems incomprehensible that patients would be left in the lurch like this with no explanati
on.
