I went into Dr. Challa's office yesterday, September 11th for a 3:50 appointment for my 4-year-old daughter. It's suspected that she has asthma. After talking a short amount of time to check her out he then proceeds to say this to me...

you look very tired and worried (I think he’s being compassionate) so I agree it’s been a long few weeks he then says you have crows feet, wrinkles on your forehead and you have smokers lines

I say ‘smoker lines’ and he says ‘yes you should get out your phone and look at your face ‘make a kissy face’ you have wrinkles. I’m completely baffled by this entire interaction.

I tell him that’s not ok and that I am here out of concern for my 4- year- old daughter and her respiratory issue and I can’t believe he’s telling me how bad I look.

He then proceeds to tell me how he gave Botox to some lady with a tumor but mine is ‘purely cosmetic, purely cosmetic’ he can help me with my wrinkles. I tell him I earned every wrinkle on my face and that I am 43 years old and I’m offended. I tell him I see myself everyday. He tried to backtrack and rubs my arm while I push away.

I get up holding my daughter and he proceeds to say ‘you know how you look you do see yourself’ ok. Ok. He says.

The most uncomfortable most degrading doctor appointment I have ever had.

We are never going back to his office, ever. He only cares about himself and making a buck off of exhausted mothers. It's not OK. Do not go to this doctor. Any of the positive reviews on here I suspect are 'friends' of his.

Excellent with kids. He is kind and gets to what he needs to see and do through little jokes and chats with kids. I would definitely bring my son here again

I have been seeing Dr. Challa for over 6 years since moving to Pitt Meadows. He has always been caring and spending time to answer my many questions, and to be excellent in helping me with my issues; I am a senior so you can imagine I DO have them. There has been instances when I changed my mind when requesting a referral and he was willing to change the referral I HAD requested. I trust him implicitly as he has been quick to investigate issues I have had and to get the needed treatments. I wholeheartedly recommend him !!!

I am very pleased with my care under Dr.challa. I have a lot of health problems and I feel he does his best to seek the answers. His staff are kind and the office is always punctual.

He was a very rude and judgmental doctor. He makes you feel stupid. He did not help at all and chose to humilate me in front of the waiting room and the staff. No bedside manner at all. Worst doctor I've had the displeasure of meeting!

Excellent doctor. He's been my GP for years and I've always found him to be very knowledgeable, helpful, pleasant, patient and kind. He does not hesitate to refer you to a specialist if necessary. So happy he is practicing close to me. His office is staffed with super people and Theresa keeps things running smoothly.
