Recently met Dr. Mina in Welland office. Such a nice, polite and handsome guy. No pain or suffer after my bone graft surgery. I highly recommend him as a great surgeon.

Highly recommended for big oral surgery cases especially for nervous patients like my son who just had his impacted wisdom teeth removed under I.V. anesthesia by Dr. Mina

He is a very nice guy who just did a sinus surgery in my mouth on emergency basis in his other practice in Grand Rapids in Michigan. I had to see him on emergency basis after my dentist created an opening into my nasal sinus during an extraction of a tooth.
Dr. Mina was kind to see me immediately and fixed the problem under sedation.

This is the worst dentist I have ever been to.... I had to get a partial plate and the teeth I was most worried about he told me could be saved. Go back after getting all the work done to find out that the one tooth that I was worried about needed a root canal! Now after paying all that money to have my teeth pulled and a partial plate put in, i have to pay an additional $1800 for a root canal when they could of just pulled that tooth in the 1st place and added to my plate. Now I'm about to go back with ANOTHER dentist to have it pulled and added to my plate 4 weeks before my wedding.. this guy is a fraud.. ontop of it all he is very rude.

I'm going to start by saying as a child I always had to attend a specially dentist due to my extreme fear of doctors. I was told by my old dentist he would not treat me as a patient anymore because of how squeamish and hesitant I was still after turning the age of 16, and would constantly make fun of me for being a "wuss". The first dentist I visited after was Dr Mina and I will NEVER go elsewhere. On top of him being very understanding about peoples anxieties and a complete gentleman, his staff is always a reason for return as well. I always seem to forget her name but his little blonde nurse always makes me feel so welcome and never makes me feel stupid for being scared. She actually held my hand while I got my IV, which I was extremely grateful for. Their hours are very flexible which is amazing being as a work nights, and any issue I have after a surgery I can always get in very promptly to resolve the issue. The TV's in the ceilings make its so relaxing as well. As much as I fear the dentist and will always have anxieties about it, I can gladly say I feel full respected, informed and taken care of here. I highly recommend Dr Mina and his amazing staff.

Dr. Mina is really fantastic along with all of the other staff at sunset dental. I was just too chicken to get my wisdom teeth removed while still awake. They had few different options including laughing gas or putting me to sleep. I honestly didn't feel a thing and healed up much much faster than I thought. Couple of days and I was back to normal and back to work.
I would suggest speaking to the fine folks at Sunset Dental if you live around St Thomas and need to get your wisdom teeth taken out.

I'm ultra happy with how quickly doctor Mina was able to help me get my wisdom teeth out. Before coming to the office I thought it was going to be a major ordeal. Instead, I was put to sleep and next thing I knew I woke up and my wisdom teeth were out! No pain or much swelling afterwards and I was back to work quickly. Can't express how thankful I am to Dr Mina and the team at sunset. Well done!

Had to have a root canal plus a crown. Dr. Mina made it as painless as possible and even repaired a damaged filling in the next tooth for next extra charge.
