Staff rude/ does not return calls. Waiting time inordinately long every time. Insists on just one refill so patient has to schedule more appointments.

I agree with most he is a little late for appointments but I have found that with other doctors. Dr. Bloch has always listened to my problem and has spent time answering my questions. I look at it this way. If he spends a little extra time with me he is going to be late for his next appointment. So if he is a little late I assume he is helping another patient. In some cases the front desk is a little less friendly but his nurses have always been helpful and friendly. In my case he is the first Dr. to ever remember me and my problem six months after my visit without reviewing a chart. I have never gone to a Dr. with the thought in mind it was like fast food. I give myself time for my next activity so as not to be rushed.

I am switching doctors. I arrived 20 minutes early and still had to wait 45 minutes before he showed up. I taljed with the office mgr who said he has been told that he runs late and still does nothing about it. The mgr had the audacity to say I arrived late...she had the incorrect appt time and didn't apoligize! Very rude. I had them copy my files while i waited. I agree with previous posts that he doesnt stop talking long enough to listen. I cant belueve that he runs his office this way!

I switched to Bloch after my doctor left the practice. I gave him plenty of time (3 years). He is always the smartest person in the room, but that wasn't hard. He is the doctor. Never follows up with you. I will not go into all of the issues. Just know I was with this practice for 14 years. I fired him, he followed up with me by sending a letter. That was so nice of him. I still return for physical therapy, which is on the back of the building. They do not speak highly of him. Call him extremely arrogant.

So intelligent in fact that he talks more than he listens. I'm not a doctor, but I assume that if you want to make a diagnosis, you need to understand whats wrong. He talked so much that I didn't have enought time to even explain to him "everything" that was wrong. He started in analysis and assumptions before I could even finish. It's quite obvious how intelligent he is, but he doesn't need to prove it to me by never shutting up. I had two visits with him and have since switched doctors.
