I was referred to Dr. Elmaraghy by my GP for treatment of sun damage to my face. After careful consideration, Dr. E recommended full face TRL and bilateral upper-lower bleph, as I would be under anesthetic during the procedure. His intent was not only the removal of pre-cancerous sun damage, but fine and deeper lines on my upper lip, eyes, forehead, and cheeks. This, in concert with post op fillers and Botox which would restore volume, and relax muscles to prevent lines from reforming, would take 10 yrs off my face!
Four months in, I can unequivocally say Dr. Elmaraghy’s intention to take 10 years off my face was indeed a modest proposal. It is more like 15, perhaps even 20! Needless to say I am positively thrilled, have no regrets whatsoever about this journey; neither the surgery, the recovery, the commitment to post-surgical skin care, nor the financial investment. I would, without hesitation, recommend Dr. Elmaraghy to anyone who is contemplating a rejuvenation to erase years of sun damage and the accumulated effects of aging. The entire staff at Spa Surgica are all professional and prompt in answering any concerns or delivering advice. Eve deserves special mention here for her guidance post-surgery, and Gail in reception who is friendly and supportive and reassuring. I've enjoyed every visit with Dr. Elmaraghy and have always come away feeling very positive!

Dr. Elmaraghy is an amazing surgeon. He is honest and blunt about what you should and shouldn't do. He cares, and wants to ensure you have the best possible outcome. He changed my life and increased my self esteem. I would never go to another pastic surgeon.

I met Dr. Elmaraghy 12 years about a scar reconstruction. He was caring compassionate and empathize with what I was going through. He’s not that same doctor.

I was referred to another doctor but went to Dr.Elmaraghy because of our meeting and when I recounted our conversation he called me a liar. It’s too bad that this conversation didn’t happen until after my surgery.

He is rude and arrogant. On most of my appointments I had to wait, my first appointment after my surgery I had to wait while in pain. When I needed to ask questions I’d be reminded about what a good job he did. How he fixed me. But I didn’t go in there to become skinny. I was skinny. I went in there because I had a scar that I wanted removed and under his recommendation a Tummy tuck was the best option.

I asked why there was a crease down the centre of my stomach, would it go away? He’d answer maybe, maybe not. I asked why my scar was so high. I got an anatomy lesson and always reminded what a good job he did. When I wasn’t healing quickly he’d accused me of smoking. I haven’t smoked in eight years. If you were talking he’d tell you to stop talking so he could talk. When I complained about pain in my hip and back. He knew the back was a pinched nerve but he gave no explanation for the hip. When I complained about the hip still hurting he said it’s not infected but gave no explanation.

Anything that happens will be your fault, I’m a smoker. I’m not. I’m wearing clothes that are too tight. I’m not. And I’m too hard on myself, well that’s why I got cosmetic surgery. If I wasn’t insecure about the one scar I had I definitely am about the huge anchor on my stomach now.

I live in my body. I know how it feels I know when something feels wrong and when I tell a doctor something doesn’t feel right and he just looks at it and says no it’s good. That’s wrong.

I paid a lot of money to remove a scar that I’m going to have to pay someone else to reconstruct next year.

Rude. Unwilling to discuss patient concerns. Talks over you when you're explaining your difficulties. Uses totally unprofessional terminology at times... such as stupid, don't you listen, referred to other medical people that I had seen as quacks. Don't go there.

Dr. Elmaraghy is a very honest and talented surgeon. If you think that you can come in obese and walkout skinny, then I suggest that you consider weight loss and not plastic surgery. He is a fantastic cosmetic surgeon but not a magician!

Terrible complications after surgery which he was not willing to correct. Suffered needlessly for almost a year. Discovered that the initial surgery was not done properly with poor cosmetic result . Found a surgeon willing to correct the issues (had to pay for another surgery) and am finally feeling better and have the cosmetic result I had hoped for

Dr. Elmaraghy was my surgeon for Upper and lower eyelid surgery which reduces bagginess from lower eyelids and removes excess skin from the upper eyelids. I've never been more disappointed in my life after spending $6,000. Not only was he rude and had a lack of bedside manners he did an extremely poor job on my eyelids. The cuts are supposed to be in the crease of the upper eyelidsso not to see them after the healing process has finished. In my case they are above the crease and are extremely noticeable. The lines are not straight and I am extremely embarrassed now to go out. My eyes look worse than they did. I found him to be extremely cocky and arrogant and when questioned about certain aspects of the surgery very defensive. I would not recommend this surgeon at all!!!! I now have to go to another surgeon to have it fixed. He may be skilled and other types of surgeries I'm not sure. I can only tell you how extremely disappointed I am and how unprofessional the work looks that he has done on my eyes.

Dr. Elmaraghy was my surgeon for my reconstructive surgeries and although he didn’t have the best bedside manner, I continued to see him for years. Over time he became more and more rude and inappropriate. He talked over me and said every other medical professional who said my implant was ruptured, were complete idiots. He actually said the radiologist is a R*tard. This is a word I do not tolerate what so ever! I was so disgusted by this and the way he disputed everything I said. He refused to remove my implant that is associated with a rare form of lymphoma and can cause Breast Implant illness, in a timely manner. In fact he wanted me to wait almost a year and said it wasn’t an emergency by any means, despite the fact I have stage 4 cancer and my implant is silicone and could be leaking more poison into my body day by day. I would not recommend him to anyone and I’m so glad I got a referral to a new surgeon.

I recently had a breast reduction and tummy tuck. He is a realist and wanted to make sure that I was at the weight I wanted to be at pre-surgery which makes complete sense to me. He did an amazing job and I have really enjoyed every post op appointment I’ve had with him as I overdid it and developed a seroma. He is kind, patient and I find him extremely funny. I would highly recommend him to anyone! I also have to give a shout out to Gail who works for him in the reception area. She is so kind and helpful. It’s been a great experience and I’m so grateful that he was recommended to me.

I had a consult with Dr. Elmaraghey for a breast reduction. All I can say is that he is very impersonal and RUDE. He tried to make up excuse after excuse to not perform the breast reduction on me despite me being the perfect candidate sitting at a FF cup at the time. I did not like his attitude and I wasn't going to trust my life in the hands of someone like that. After my consult with Dr. Elmaraghey I went back to my family doctor and got a new referral to a different clinic. Needless to say, I'm glad I did because I am now 5 days Post Op and had the BEST experience ever with that clinic.
