Dr Lyon is brilliant. Very careful in his diagnosis and treatment. I found him helpful. I would use him again.

While this doctor was administering Avastin into my eye for a vein occlusion which I wish I would've treated with orgone and homeopathy, he accidentally dropped the needle into my optic nerve. It might stay damaged for the rest of my life, and I will never feel the same in both eyes again. It is absolutely just not right to treat the condition in this manner. It is dangerous to put a sharp metal object in the eye! I repeat, it is dangerous to have someone stick a needle into your eyeball. This guy might ruin your life forever.

Dr. Lyon saved my vision. The next closest Specialist was in Dallas. Because he is the best, I do not mind waiting to see the best, especially when you consider the time it would take if one had to travel to see a Specialist. He is extremely knowledgeable, honest, forthright and patient. Louisiana is fortunate to have such a stellar practitioner.

He is a good doctor but you have to wait forever to get an appointment to see him then you have another long wait in the waiting room before you get to see him. He is the only retinal specialist anywhere around here so I sit and wait.

I was a patient of Dr. Lyon's in 1991. Because of his quick action, he saved my eye. I would have gone blind in my left eye within days due to histo. When you are dealing with your vision, you want THE best. Since my surgery, I have mentioned to other medical professionals what I dealt with, and that Dr. Lyon was my doc. Every single one of them raved that Dr. Lyon is one of the best retina specialists in the country.
