I saw Dr. goldmeier for the first time yesterday. It took 2 hours and nothing was accomplished. At one time he got up and went to the bathroom, then he told me to leave the office while he made a call and during the session he constantly yawned. I felt like I was wasting his time. He told me that he could not help me unless I seek therapy, which is fine but the way he said it made feel like he was brushing me off. He decided to raise my lithium even though he does not have any blood work to go by. He told me to go get blood work but gave me no form. He just wrote it on a prescription pad. I had a report from Wash U and he refused to look at it till we were almost done and when he did he didnt even say anything about it. He didnt listen to me, constantly asking if I have taken a certain med and I had to remind him that I was currently taking it. He just kept telling me 'that's right'. I will not be seeing him again.

Dr. Goldmeier is fairly intellegent but really doesn't seem to listen to what I and a few other people I have talked with about him what so ever. He is yet to answer a majority of my questions and it seems like he knows exactly what's best for me. There are some medications im not willing to take because possible permanant side effects but he doesn't want to listen. He is also hardly ever on time (seen up to 5 people in the waiting room for him specificly)
