Chris was very knowledgeable and understanding. He worked with me to get a treatment plan, sorry he retired, it wasn’t the same with him gone!

I was a patient at the Retreat and Dr Chris Holman was my doctor. Before treatment I attempted suicide hundreds of times, was sectioned too many times and had suffered years of abuse. My life before DBT was over, I am now a vicar running two churches very successfully, I use DBT skills daily and I am thinking of a way I can adapt them to work with other vicars who are near burnout with the pandemic. Thank you Chris you restored and transformed my life

Yeah, hes pretty damned good.

Listens, to me at least, we actually worked together to come up with the right treatment, and eventually we got there.

Probably the least narcisstic of all the shrinks I have seen, and certainly on a par with my American one knowledge wise

I am 95% better, which considering Ihad probably been writte off is not much short of a miracle.

Pity he has now retired

I was a patient of Dr Holman's whilst at The Retreat where he was our Consultant Psychiatrist. He was also my psychotherapist for group & individual sessions. One of the kindest & empathic professionals I've ever met & by far, the least pompous.
