I once had the displeasure of being referred to this unpleasant man quite a few years back. From my bad experience with him I would have to agree with previous negative ratings, hope I am never unfortunate to have to come across this unpleasant man again. Agree he was very condescending and also had no apparent concern for my welfare. Such a shame that for so many excellent psychiatrists in the NHS, there is always some bad apples and he based of my experience of him is definitely one of them.

I attended a one off appointment with Dr Armstrong in March 2013. I have only met him once but I found his attitude very rude and condescending. I felt he had no real concern for my welfare or future. He tended to speak over me and not let me have my say, or he would put words into my mouth and try and tell me how I should be feeling. I left the appointment feeling very disappointed. I would not recommend this doctor.
