Dr. Bush has been treating my son for 6 months now and we have had nothing but a good experience. When I have questions, I email him and he gets back to me within hours (even on weekends). He reached out to my son's therapist for additional information without my asking and his office staff has been nothing but kind and accommodating.

We have had such a positive experience working with Dr Bush and his team. He’s knowledgable, attentive, approachable, relates well with children and adults, and explains medical concepts in an easy to understand way. His team furthers sets him apart. I have never in my life worked with a medical office with such a responsive and caring team.

Dr. Bush is extraordinarily intelligent and empathetic. He has mastered his craft as a psychopharmacologist and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a phenomenal doctor that listens to you and only wants the best for you. He is easy to speak with, his staff is fantastic and I couldn’t give more of a rave review for Dr. Bush. Once you see him, you can see for first-hand that he is the best in the business. If I can go higher than a 10 out of 10 I would.

Best psychiatrist on Long Island .. I spent over 10 years as a parent member (advocate) for individuals with Disabilities in Education Act. I have referred quite a few cases to him for his expertise in many areas including ADHD. His true passion for helping people shows at every meeting !

Dr. Bush is courteous, punctual, and professional. All members of his staff have displayed to me the same level of graciousness. He has been of tremendous help to me over the years, and as someone who thought would be on medication for life, I have been successfully managing my mental health without medication for the last 7 months. Dr. Bush is Harvard-trained and his knowledge of psychopathology in all its manifestations is truly impressive. Before receiving care under Dr. Bush, I was told by several psychiatrists and therapists alike that my case was “too complex” and subsequently had trouble finding anyone that was willing to take me as a patient. Dr. Bush was the only person that had the training, knowledge, and level of experience under his belt to effectively manage my case. I’m a strong believer in the old saying “you get what you pay for” and Dr. Bush is well worth the expense.

A very friendly and professional doctor that made me feel like he actually cares unlike other doctors that can be dismissive. They were also really accommodating with my busy schedule.

I agree with the negative reviews. It is next to impossible to communicate with this man. He prefers to communicate over Email (?!) because he is “very busy and prefers to be succinct.” Fine, but this isn’t business! I am a real patient and a real person.
His gate keeper is even worse; lacks bedside manner and empathy.
I also believe this office is spread too thin. Harvard credentials don’t impress me if you don’t know how to connect with the people whom you are trying to help. Stay away.

Dr. George Bush's response
Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry that this was your experience at our office. We want every patient that leaves to feel taken care of. Often we find emails a good way to communicate but if a call is needed, then Dr Bush will follow up with a call.
We would love the opportunity to discuss your experience and learn from your recent visit.
