I had problems after endoscopy/colonoscopy 3 1/2 years earlier by another dr and Dr. Rosen repeatedly said it could not happen. After Dr. Rosen did the tests in 2007, I have permanent damage. My family physician told me they badly damaged the lining and she referred me to a gastroenterologist. He laughed when I said that Dr. Rosen said it was because of my age. He said it could have happened if he had done the tests because there are a lot of nooks and crannies in there. In a phone conversation months after the fact, Dr. Rosen admitted it could happen but not frequently. AMAZING that he tells me after the fact and NONE of his reports reflect the damage done. I have lost over 20 lbs since the tests and still counting. Constantly sick. He was knowledgeable and did not tell me. I have done research on this since and it does happen and have talked to people it has happened to

Biography

Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I wanted to enjoy every single day I worked. Being a doctor allows me to feel that every day has been productive, and that I have been able to help someone. We were placed here to repair an imperfect world, and each one of us has a small part to play in trying to make it better. What I want my patients to know about me:I am a caring individual who is willing to listen. I have over thirty years of experience as a Gastroenterologist, and will work hard for every single patient to achieve the best possible outcome. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I enjoy outdoor activities, particularly sailing and skiing. However, just being in a beautiful location, with a great view and good people is probably the most enjoyable experience for me.
