If your looking for a good Doctor to spend time with you, look no further. He has a great personality and is very knowledgeable, explanatory and is just overall a great Dr. You do have to wait however, it is worth it.

Dr DeClue is the BEST family practice doctor in town. I will not go to another. My whole family goes to him and we all love him. Yes, you do have to wait to see him, sometimes longer than you like. But one thing for sure is that he is taking the time with a patient that has questions and needs help and he will do the same for you. He never makes you feel that you are rushed in and out and he always has time to explain everything to you in detail and answers any questions you might have. DR DECLUE IS THE BEST!! Give him a try, I don't think you will be disappointed. He has a great personality and gets down on your level to explain things to you, not above your head in medical terms.

My first appointment with Dr. Declue was for a referral that military doctors refused to give me for seven years. He took the time out to actually observe the issue and knew right away I needed to see a surgeon. My family sees him as well. I have heard that some days the wait is horrible, but I got right when I had my early morning appointment.

My family has seen Dr Declue for 6 years. The doctor is wonderful and will gladdly take time to be sure he understands my concerns and answers all questions. His care with his patients does result in him being horribly behind in appointments DAILY. Allow at least 4 hours for any scheduled office visit. The staff frequently seems overwhelmed in this single doctor practice. The nurses are slow to respond to phone messages and there have been a couple of times when I could not get anyone on the phone during business hours. There have been times when I have just drove to the office to get an answer. I have considered changing doctors because of the staff and punctuality issues however do not feel that I would receive the level of physician one on one interaction in my actual visit that I do with Dr Declue. He never, ever makes me feel as if my appointment is rushed or that he is thinking about something else.

I have used this doctor for years now, but the wait time has gone up and up and today I walked out. I can't wait 3 hours for a scheduled appointment when I'm working.

I have been seeing Dr. DeClue since he began practice in Columbus. He has been very professional and helpful to me. I have left messages that I needed to talk directly to him and he has responded as soon as he could. He is one of the very rare doctors who listens to his patients and does not rush them when they are talking to them regarding their case. I highly recommend Dr. DeClue to anyone who wants a good level headed qualified physician.

No, the staff isn't the best, but the reason the wait is so long is that The Doctor spends time with each patient to answer all of your concerns. to me, the awesome care he gives me is worth the wait.

Expect atleast a 2 hour wait even with a scheduled appointment. The staff is not very friendly and at times don't even answer the phone during regular business hours. The Dr. doesn't seem to have much time to spend with you as a patient, but he does seem to be knowledgeable in his diagnosis of problems.
