Very old-school, unprofessional, and technologically out-of-date. I will be paying for an out-of-network physician just to find an effective non-surgical treatment for my condition (stage 3 hemorrhoid). Dr. Adams simply offered ineffective medications or full hemorrhoidectomy (FAR too drastic for my case). I will have an alternative 30-second non-surgical procedure in Knoxville. Adams was a complete waste of my time.

Dr. Adams is the best doctor I have ever came across. I suffer from chronic pancreatitis and if i wasnt for Dr. Adams, I may not be here today. He save my life. I like his staff but I can see how some people would think they are rude. I would rather have a good doctor and bad staff, then a bad doctor and good staff. I would recommend doctor adams to anyone. He is one of a kind

the reason dr adam's was so hard to reach is because he had a massive heart attack and had to undergo emergency open heart qaudruple bypass surgery while on a short vacation in las vegas, where he was gravely ill and so much so he couldnt even get to come back here, or be transferred to knoxville even, for weeks, you should be ashamed of yourself, your not the only person in the world with health problem's , dr's get them to, and this dr. almost died, when his snuck up on him.

He found out my medical problem, which two other gastroenterologists misdiagnosed. He got me on the right medicine and had me on the path to recovery within a couple of days, whereas with the other doctors the condition had gone on for months. He has always been friendly and concerned, and even spoke to my family to explain the situation. He was very knowledgeable and professional.

After Dr Adams performed a endoscopey on me, he told me to call his office in a couple of weeks and get the results of some biopsies he performed. I attempted to call his office 72 times over a three week period before anyone answered the telephone. I always called during office hours and 9 times out of ten, I would get a busy signal. The other times I got his answering machine. When I finally did get an answer, the young lady who answered the phone was extremely rude. I have still not received any results from the procedure he performed. Dr Adams seems very knowledgeable but due to his dingy and rude office staff, I will not use his services again and would not suggest him to anyone else.
