Called December 9th to book an appointment. Told I would get a call by Friday, November 12th. Well it's now November 29th and I've not only not received any calls I've also tried to call back myself countless times and can never get an answer. I'm on a medication that I can't stop taking but can't get a refill because of this....He is unsafe and should not have a license.

Dr Mpiana refused to give me my SNRI medication that I have been on for years due to his own personal beliefs. Antidepressant and anti anxiety medications such as SSRI’s and SNRI’s are non addictive and extremely necessary for some patients, and are not akin to benzodiazepines at all, yet this doctor seems to believe his personal beliefs usurp his duty to practice medicine and do no harm. I wouldn’t recommend this man practice medicine, let alone recommend anyone visit him.

Amazing doctor. Verry Observant and really watching and listening to his patients. People say he comes of Stern/quite but that not the case he’s studying you and talking in everything your saying to try and do his best for his patients. Amazing doctor 100% I have had him for 3 years and I swear he’s the only doctor that has actually helped me....

I had a big hive whole of my body and the doc saw my body. He just said “I DONT KNOW “. Then he wrote a prescription without any question such as pregnancy, other pills etc.

No words to express really. No one should have to wait 2 hrs past their appointment time. I don't feel he has a sound knowledge base on different diseases. You have to be your own advocate and research your own concerns. I would not recommend him and I am looking for new doctor.

I feel that this site only enables negativity from patients without any concrete proof. I find Dr. Mpiana and his staff to be efficient and courteous. I wonder sometimes how they have the patience to tolerate such verbal abuse sometimes. Some of the patients waiting are rude and have no understanding for how a clinic works. I book appointments and show up on time and wait my turn. If I need an appointment urgently, then that would be an issue for the Emergency Department. Power to you Dr Mpiana and staff for all you do. It aint easy that's for sure.

This GP sees too many patients and has been taking new patients and walk-ins off the street for 10+ years. His practice is now unsafe. He doesn't care that you wait 2+ hours beyond your appointment time. Says: "That's the way it is here." No compassion for people in pain waiting too long. Very bad with referrals. Poor communication with Specialists. Wish the College would look into this man's method of practice.

Dr. Mpiana seems to be knowledgeable, kind, and always in a hurry. The office staff is lacks any organizational skills and have repeatedly lost our patient files, important papers and seem to have no idea what they are doing.
