An amazing Chiropractor who has guided me through many stages of my life, in the span of 8 years, that I have seeing Dr. Bob. If it wasn't for him I would not be where I am today. He has helped me understand the importance of the Heart Rate Variability and how our lives can shift with just the slightest change in our nervous system, spine, and lifestyle.

From someone who has been through turmoil of abuse and depression since childhood, I have never thought I could be able to function, think and behave as a normal human being. With many traumas, much depression, drugs, triggers, emotions and toxins in my body, I would not imagine that chiropractic could change my life. Dr. Bob Pike has guided me, mentored me, coached me and taught me about life in ways I would never think imaginable.

A life of cognitive behaviour in receiving great grades and finishing my Grade 12 at the age of 40. Amazing how my ADHD has been measured as I was able to focus, concentrate and have stamina to complete my 2-3 years of schooling with higher grades than when I was in school 20 years ago.

I never believed it was possible with my lack of attitude, and patience. I was always an average B-C student, but when I completed my schooling at a later age with constant chiropractic care my grades came up considerably. I have tested myself with chiropractic and without chiropractic care before tests, and there was a huge 40- 60% in my test marks with chiropractic care. Amazing!!

Teachers were shocked and always asked me how come my test marks fluctuated so high, and what have I done before my tests that my marks would sky rocket. They told me to keep doing what you are doing because you are doing amazing with learning at such an older age.

Just 1 hour before my tests at school I would be adjusted so that I had the energy and stamina to complete the test, and fight through my memory of what I had studied for. My memory came to me easily as I had no anxiety going into my tests, and was able to complete them in the time allotted with no stress, and no breaks in between. I flew through the tests no problem! Piece of cake!

So grateful for Dr. Bob Pike, as he has transformed my attitude that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. What mind, I was so depressed, anxious, fearful and not liking life. He told me we all have choices. My choice was "My Health was Important to Me no Matter What!"

With his guidance and mentoring I was able to change my food choices, and live a healthier lifestyle with exercise, and have a much clarity on my goals. Very Grateful as there is value in what I have received in his care with actually physically and mentally seeing and feeling the changes with his many tests of EMG and HRV devices and natural healing techniques.

There is many things that can be said about Dr. Pike.
This gentlemen has a plethora of knowledge and experience in his profession.

Every Chiropractor can say why they are good in the industry and why their office is rated#1....

Who rates them? Colleagues? Friends? Family? Themselves based on their financial success and location?

Let me tell you this, I am rating Dr. Bob Pike, so this is straight from a patient.

People travel all over the world to relieve their pains, they medicate themselves and do all sorts of things to "Bandage" their pain.
Bandage is exactly what they are doing as whatever chemicals taken or improper techniques used can cause you even more permanent and irreversible suffering over a period of time.

This is a "Healing Center" It is based in the Healing Arts Center of Keswick. The truth about Dr. Pike is no secret, he "Heals" people with his hands and extensive experience and knowledge.

In chiropractic, vertebral subluxation is a set of signs and symptoms of the spinal column. This is the main foundation by understanding of the Vertebrae to simply Correct "significant structural displacement".

After a pleasant diagnosis and a very detailed explanation with both verbal and visuals there is no misunderstandings of what needs to be done to "Heal" your issues.

Now my story begins.....

Back in 1978 I was at the tender age of 8 years old, my eldest brother loved to prop me up on his shoulders even before that age. He was proudly walking with me propped up high on his shoulders when a deviant decided to have an altercation with my brother. He was 16 at the time as was the other rebel.
When it came to blows my brother had forgotten who was on his shoulders.....
I was literally dropped from over 6 feet high directly on to my head when I plummeted to the concrete sidewalk below..... my spine took the brunt of this impact and I blacked out for a second (No bleeding.....Impressive!)
I did not realize the damage it caused and if that happened to me as an adult I would had most certainly broken my neck and/or died.

I was young and did not think to go to the doctors as kids seem to heal faster...... So I thought.....
I suffered for the next 38 years. Year after year it got worse until I finally broke down from the pain and stiffness....... I had limited mobility in my neck.... A clicking noise when I turned my head..... lower back pains and a multitude of horrific stabbing pains and tingles throughout my body. Some days I had to crawl on my hands and knees while everyone tried to cater my disability.

I was referred to Dr. Pike by my wife and I took the plunge.

After the ball was rolling I learned about Subluxation and understood and continue to understand more each and every visit.

My first visit I was enlightened mentally knowing this monstrosity of pain could be corrected..... My disability could be "Disabled" and my massive loss of strength in my legs and arms could be rectified.

Each visit it became more apparent that something amazing was happening to me...... My mighty strength was returning, my motion was impressively and drastically improving my entire disposition and aura was changing.....
My positive energy had been growing to a ridiculous level that my own staff at work were perplexed with how I was walking, talking, standing straight, and actually smiling. (Yes it freaked them out as they have never seen me like this before in 16 years of knowing me).

I have still a long way to go as my damage was extensive but not irreversible.
I have hope now each night to sleep well and sensations I have lost are returning to me including my sense of touch, my ability to grip and so on.
LOL I now have to train my brain to adapt to my sensations I had been deprived of for 38 years :)

To summarize....

Dr. Robert (Bob) Pike is one of the best in the industry (Yes I tried others that were into "CRACKING MY BACK" and failed miserably causing me more pain).

The old adage said back in the day for the Old Hide House was "It's worth the drive to Acton"

I will now make a new saying....

To have your Chiropractic Healing done...... "Dr. Pike is worth the drive to KESWICK!"

Dr. Pike has taught me so much about my body and my health. I basically crawled into his office begging for help. Tired of the traditional medical system and treatment with medications that were causing me severe stomach issues I wanted to give this a chance. Best thing I've done I am totally pain free and since the day I started have not taken any meds including over the counter stomach antacids . It is a process that takes time but totally worth it. Thanks Dr. Pike for bringing my body back to life!
