I have had a pretty severe case of Pudendal neuralgia for the past couple of years. As you likely know this is a very rare condition and hard to find help. I found Dr Filler after searching the web and went for a consultation in July 2020. I found Dr Filler to be very lacking in bedside manner and very short with me, when even asking the most basic of information regarding my condition and options for treatment. He said I needed to get one his "patented" MR Nerve scans completed, as I claims in his website as well. I ordered the scan for his imaging center in Beverly Hills. I went in and the special MR nerve scan was nothing more than a typical and older GE MRI machine you'd find in most any scan center. Not a special Tesla or other much better technology you would expect. I had the MRI completed and received the report, which was not completed by a radiologist, but instead a short portly drafted report from Dr Filler himself. I had the MRI images and report reviewed by several top radiologists from John Hopkins and other top experts in Pudendal neurology and all said it was basically worthless and the report very poorly drafted. In fact, I found out that his so called patented MR Nerve MRI he offers is garage and nothing more then typical instructions given to the MRI technician on what images Dr Filler wants to see. No special machine or technology. I also had to pay $4,000 in cash, since nothing Dr Filler is covered by insurance (red flag!!). I had a follow up consultation with Dr Filler a week later and he was so rude and not willing to explain anything, he simply just kept saying you need injections (again all cash only and done only in his office), do you want to proceed or not?!? This attitude and further consultation with other "real" doctors and reading very negative reviews on Dr Filler lucky made me keep researching. In short, my personal opinion is run from this man!! I was blessed in finding one of the worlds too experts in all pelvic disorders in Scottsdale, AZ. He has over 30 years as a surgeon and nerve specialist, who only does surgery as a last resort. He is the warmest and most knowledgeable doctor I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and has done wonders for me. He taught and practiced at St Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix for decades and just opened his private clinic last year. He accepts full insurance and is a god send. This post is simply my personal experience and opinion and only posting in hopes of saving anyone else from Dr Filler and the other many frauds out there. You can find Dr Michael Hibner at Arizona Center for Cronic Pelvic Pain or simply search Dr Micheal Hibner on YouTube. He has a great video on his career and history. Best of luck!!
