A family member asked me to attend an appointment with him but I wasn't allowed in by the receptionist even though the patient wanted me to attend. I feel that is totally unethical and is actually a patient's right to have someone with them. Unbelievable!! I was told by the receptionist that this has been their policy for a long time.
