Had my initial first pregnancy appointment with her by chance when I experienced bright red bleeding and the other practice was not open or even taking phone calls (inclement weather). Even though they were at half staff because of the blizzard I was seen that day and Dr. Hieb explained everything to me and set my mind at ease. She always explains what is going on, why she recommends what she does, but it was always up to me. Also my labor went really long, but with her patience and direct help I had a vaginal delivery with very little tearing (even though my son's head was in the 99% percentile!). I have since moved, and am sad that she won't deliver my second!
