tried to make an appt as a new patient.couldn't get past sec'y answering phone as rude & gave her correct ins # but she said was not correct.First asked my ins # when answered phone before even asking my name.So I canceled this doctor due to office attitude.Will look for another doctor. Very disappointed.Obviously she needs to act professionally .

Kathy, at the reception desk, is great. Dr. Amster is thorough and cautious and takes no prisoners if he thinks something should be biopsied. Punctuality, I gave three stars, because usually he is behind and there is a wait. However, punctuality is controlled by the patient he sees. As I said, he takes no prisoners, so if you have something suspicious, he deals with it then. Nauturally, any unexpected biopsy is going to mess up a schedule.
