Very unprofessional with the lifes of patients and their health. Because of him I had lost my mother at a very young age of 42. Don't know how e treats patients. But my mother didn't come after normal Aortic valve replacement surgery. All because of Mr.kapoor.

I'm a little surprised with the negative reviews, my dad was operated for aortic valve replacement in 2014 under Dr Lalit Kapoor, in BM Birla, and he did an excellent job, he was so soft spoken with me, gave me so much hope and did the surgery well. And my dad recovered under him in a month's time. He did his surgery very well. I had contacted him over Facebook during covid vaccination asking for his advice what vaccine should my dad take as i do not stay in Kolkata, and he responded over Facebook. Very thankful for his response.

I had two pf my relatives operated by this doctor in COVID pandemic . Despite the complexity of one case and being rejected from other surgeon he gave us hope and clear facts throughout the period of team. I must say the Dr. And team were intermittently communicating and giving us almost daily updates . Negative reviews i can understand when you are dealing with such bad cases few people are not so fortunate and give low ratings.
But i am happy with the end result.

I will suggest for bypass and valve surgery whther first time or repeat procedure he sure knows what he is doing.

He is a very bad doctor. A total businessman who is dedicated to earn money. He was totally irresponsible while operating my brother in law's valve. He didn't warn us about his poor condition. Just admitted him to Naryana healthcare and operated. Later after struggling in the ventilation, he died. It shocked all of us. The positive reviews posted here are all his relatives. People don't post positive reviews. Positive reviews are rarely true. But negative reviews are mostly true. Avoid his advice and everything. Consult other doctors who are more caring. A waste of money from Naryana healthcare keeping such an worthless doctor in their hospital.

My mother is currently admitted in Ravindranath Hospital and went thru an open heart surgery thru Dr. Lalit Kapoor. I can not comment on his expertise because I do not belong to any medical community but I find his behavior very arrogant and troublesome. He refused to meet us even for 10 min after the surgery was over. I think a doctor should understand that he deals with heart and mind of a family and therefore, he should be polite and keep frequent communication with the loved ones. I understand he can have many patient and may not have time for everyone. Hovever, I would expect a doctor to provide at least a bare minimum time with the family that needs information and comfort for their loved once. I strongly recommend readers or future patients to either get a commitment from this docotor for regular update or consider some other surgen. In summary, I am disappointed from the behavior of someone who calls himself a dr with 35 years of experience.
