The best doctor. Dr. Hemmings shows true compassion into his work. He has helped me start my journey as a young mother. He is very kind and make you feel secure in every step of the way. Thank You

Mr Hemmings nous a rencontré ma femme et moi dans une rencontre où il se trouvait possiblement en total conflit d'intérêt par rapport à son entreprise privé. Ma femme fut stérilisée par un de ses partenaire d’affaire et Il fut tout comme par hasard assigné par le CHUM ou s’est produit l’incident pour commenter le traitement effectué par son collègue et partenaire d’affaire.

Il a approuvé l’ablation de trompe fonctionnelle et trouve normal que ni ma femme ni moi en ai jamais été avisé. Je ne le recommanderais pas et prendre vos précautions si vous avez à laisser votre femme avec ce docteur qui s'est déjà prononcé en accord avec de l'amputation de trompe de Fallope fonctionnel sans l'accord de la patiente. Un autre de ses partenaires d’affaire et co-fondateur de l’entreprise avec lui à également été irradié par le College des Médecins du Québec pour le même traitement illégal toujours effectué au nom du CHUM mais initié par l’entreprise privé, ceci n’étais pas en vigueur lorsqu’il nous a tout deux confirmé que la stérilisation sans l’accord est 100% NORMAL dans son entreprise.

Awesome doctor! We had our 4 children with him, and he delivered our twins by c-section. Calm, reassuring, gentle, kind and very knowledgeable. We wish him a great retirement!

I moved to Montreal when I was 5 months pregnant and was concerned that I would find it hard to get a doctor to follow me. Thankfully Dr Hemmings was taking patients on at the time. He is a very busy doctor so on some of my appointments I had to wait a long time (up to 2 hrs) and appointments tended to be short but my pregnancy was straight forward so I wasn't too concerned. If I had any questions he was always happy to answer them and he made me feel safe and comfortable. He didn't attend the birth of my baby but he did pop in to congratulate us and say hello which I appreciated.

I will never have children because of this doctor" lawyers have proven this much; but the rest of the process was getting expensive... and made me go in and out of clinical depression.
I wish I could give the staff more points, but that would make his rating seem higher... just keep in mind .
Because I fear for my anonymity BUT want to help women out there, so I find it hard to explain without details... let's just say: GET SECOND OPINIONS if trying to get pregnant and don't know WHY you can't. I was lied to about a procedure where I was put under but didn't happen. I found out 10 years later, too late to harvest my eggs. Lies, finger pointing (at me) and prescriptions filled that time. I got told I was post menopausal at a ridiculous age yet STILL have periods I cry every DAY. My couple broke down, I can't tell you all I lost. This man would rather not tell the truth then admit a mistakes, while it's easier to work with the knowledge of mistake at the moment then !) YEARS OF LIES. He's lucky we are not in the states and that I can't afford top lawyers (probably why he's not scared of lying). To everyone he'll say, in his typical mild-mannered way "everything is fine". Well, NOTHING IS FINE. I WANT TO DIE now that I know I'll never have little one to love and teach and... (great, crying again). JUST GO ELSEWHERE AT THE FIRST SIGN of irregularity, be it your hormones, getting pregnant, etc... all he's going for his pap tests. PS: all he does is try to sell IVF so if you're not rich... SEEK SECOND OPINION, you might not even need it, and he does not treat the poor the same anyways. He stigmatizes the patient to make up for his ignorance of a problem's cause. Love yourself and get out of there!
