Excellent dentist. Have been a patient for many years and he’s great at his profession and VERY knowledgeable. I, my family and many people I know trust him with their dental care and I very highly recommend him to handle your dental needs.

Dr. Shapiro has miraculously eliminated my crippling fear of dentists. His calm humorous approach and painless injection technique are refreshing.The staff were sweet and helpful with my insurance issues.Highly recommended. (especially for fearful patients).

As far as I know the job done was good, but a doctor who doesn't keep his gloves during the treatment ? and who puts my head between his legs to do his job ? Who interrupts his work to answer phone calls at least 5 long times ? This is just inapropriate. He is also far too much expensive. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Nice guy but average dentist. I don't really like his approach. He also argues a lot with his assistant while he's working on you. You basically have an on-going tiff happening over your head while they're working on your teeth. It's awkward. On the bright side, you only have to see a dentist for 30 min so I just suck it up.

I have to disagree with some of the comments regarding $$$. Yes, he's not the cheapest dentist but you get what you pay for. In comparison to the other Dentists in Montreal, he's reasonable. He is always helpful and friendly. He takes the time to make sure you're comfortable and understand what procedure he's doing to you. He's amazing at his job and is very knowledgeable. He's got a patient for life !

I found Dr. Shapiro to have excellent and friendly bedside manner. He was very professional to make sure I was comfortable and explain the procedures and methods with me. I did have a bit of trouble with his staff though as I found some of them to lack manners and courtesy. It seems as if some of them were competiting for his approval and attention, even in front of his patients. There was one though who I thought lack the knowledge to assist. She made numerous mistakes that Dr Shapiro was quick to correct her on. Alot left cuts in my mouth and made my procedures longer. It made me very uncomfortable and scared to be her patient, expecially when she was scolded in front of me. I preferred to have the doctor do the work as he was painless. Dr. Shapiro charged a fair amount and worked with my insurance.

He pulled my wisdom teeth, and then a few years later my wife's. Was very proffesional and friendly, but the bottom line was that we did not feel a thing. Best Dentist experience ever..
